Not sure if I'm understanding this right but... the way I think of it is that you can only see a certain Shinigami by touching the Death Note that belongs to them. You can tell who's a user just by the whole lifespan stuff. |

| You thought Kira's gonna have some helper, but it seemed to be a weakstupid teammate, at least mentally. I read some comments on Rem's voice sounding like an old woman, but I thought it's sexy. Maybe because I'm not a manga reader so that I have no chance to head canon the voice ahead of time. It felt like the way to be able to kill a death would be quite important later on. BTW, I don't see why the death fell for Misa, maybe just because of her pretty face? |

| This episode revealed many things yet raises many questions: - Ryuk has 2 deathnote? - Shinigami King? - Tricking the Shinigami King? That's just some of them I think L hide something from the detective and Light. It's more logical that Light's percentage of being Kira raised drastically, cuz he know so much about stuff like that. And thus L finally decided that Light is Kira Gelus just need to be quiet and don't write anything in the deathnote if he want to save Misa. Cuz in this universe, human died only when the Shinigami wrote their name on the deathnote. |

| A bit of a quiet episode, but still fantastic. The relationship between L and Light is getting more and more tense. My only issue is that L immediately believed that Shinigami existed; anybody in today's world would scoff at that idea. L seems ready to accept a unrealistic explanation, which simply wouldn't be accepted in any police force. |

| The thing I haven't ever understood is if Jealous saved Misa when she was much younger, why she received the DN only after Light got his DN? (spoiler from the next ep) And the last scene when Light and Misa entering the restaurant is a filler, but a bad one, since Ryuk and Rem could just see each other and (spoiler from the next episodes) never understood why the added it. |

| It may have been 4 years since I saw Death Note for the first time ever, but my feelings for Misa haven't really changed much from initial impressions... which aren't that positive to put it nicely. Still though, interesting to learn more about the shinigami themselves through Misa's shinigami, Rem. Didn't quite expect to hear that a shinigami can die only if it falls in love with a human and the story Rem spoke about to detail Misa in regards to why that's the case, as well as why she was chosen to have Gelus' Death Note were pretty good. Going to be interesting to see how Light would react to meeting Misa, since its clear that he is not a fan of how she's dragging down the Kira image in his mind and Misa the person may not gel well with someone like him. The whole thing with L learning that shinigami could be a real thing given Misa's speech about how she wants her shinigami to meet up with Light's, along with the two of them of course., was quite over the top to say the least reaction-wise. Legit almost felt like he saw a shinigami in his eyes when he reacted to that. |

| Jealous’ story was so well done: the music, the grim atmosphere, the revelation that it was misa he loved… Spectacular. Also the ending scene: Light and Misa wondering what each other were like, sitting in the same coffee shop unwittingly … Epic. L seeing what light thinks of the videos, Light quickly deciding to tell them there was a 2nd kira even tho it was an apparent disadvantage. .. Souichirou’s brave advance to the television station and Misa’s revelation last episode… This show is so legendary. So top tier in execution, characters, story, art, direction… Simply amazing. |
