| Man, Rin is such a tsundere... he acts hostile towards Haru and the rest yet he misses the times when they all used to swim together like... just be honest with your feelings, man. It's not like you will look less manly by doing it I mean, this is "Free!" after all. And also, I must say that them winning the relay race without any prior training sure was an ass pull but well, they needed to classify to the regionals somehow... still, the outcome was a pretty unrealistic. All in all, it was a decent episode although Rei acting like a ninja/detective really made me laugh a couple of times. And well, Gou also looked gorgeous in her yukata. Too bad Ama-sensei didn't come to the festival tho. |

| Detective Rei was hilarious. I love how Makoto takes a good care of the animals. He's such a lovely person. The girls looked cute in their yukatas. |

| Nagisa's winking cue to Makoto killed me!! xD This anime is so good! I think Rin is slowly realizing that he misses the bond he had with his former teammates (on his childhood relay team) and that's why he wants to join his school's relay team. However, he is kind of standoffish, so I dunno if joining the relay team with new teammates at his new school will solve all his problems. |

Rei is fucking hilarious without even trying. Lmaooo the way he hid and sneaked through the crowd and how he walked past Nitori ππ and Nagisa's insane blinking that somehow got across to Makoto lmao I love these guys Rin is reminiscing about his past and the time he spent with his friends. Why is Haru so hung up on Rin?! This is so gd annoying. buuuut at least he's finally realized what is more important, his current teammates/friends. And now Rin is being annoying as fuck and wants to be part of the relay. He can fuck off. |
