| This is the first episode of the season to really feel like classic Jujutsu Kaisen, we aren't quite in the big leagues yet but it'll get there. The braid-bangs queen Mei-Mei is here so that's already some high points, and I love the grasshopper curse even if he's kinda gross lol Also, did anyone else notice the guy wearing Trafalgar Law's hat from One Piece in an early scene of the crowd? |

| @Embient I was just coming to post about the circles there were two...both in the middle of the screen horizontally but vertically about 30% from the bottom and 30% from the top. I though maybe my screen had a defect, but I ran a youtube screen test and didn't see them |
| gojo revealed his eyes at the end, that's the money shot right there. some itadori action, the ghosting and dimming again did kinda ruin it icl. i forgot about mei and ui ui's relationship lol. jogo was having fun burning up the civilians. the info dumping in jjk is almost always a snooze but i still think this was better than last week's episode. |

| Lmao the scene of Gojou walking over people's heads using his abilities was pretty funny especially with the added bouncy effect. Seems Getou and his crew actually have created a pretty interesting trap using humans as the main source of collateral which forces Gojou into a situation alone were he can't use a lot of his resources. Also seems to tests his morality since the curses don't mind killing a few humans first, it's Gojou's decision whether to use his domain and potentially collateral some humans to gain the field advantage before the curses kill more themselves. Damn the foreshadowing of Getou's endgame plan as well was scary, if Gojou doesn't be quick about the situation, in 20 minutes it's apparently game over and Getou seems hella confident in it. |

| Someone in Mappa needs to be fired asap, more of the same low quality action scenes in this episode unfortunately, it's like this season is allergic to competent and flowing directing, there's such a lack of transparency between S1 and S2, the ghosting and dimming is the least of my worries lol, but people will still use that scapegoat as the source of their anger. |
| Eh, we can overlook the grasshopper fight. Most of it was actually alright. As long everything that comes next is done good. |

| The battle with that insect was kinda goofy and funny, able to laid back while I was lunching. Although, I'm excited for what the episode has set up for us with Gojo for next episode. |

| Exactly. In generad I don't pay attention to animation etc, but in that particular episode, or rather Itadori vs Locust, it was just... weird. The style jumping between 2D and 3D, reused animation... The documentary segment makes me believe it was some complex joke I didn't get, but I'm not sure about it |
Not the best episode for sure but it aint that bad like bruh yall making it like yall pay to watch them (most of yall rnt paying) But imma be honest the ghosting was for sure annoying but its apparently japanese streaming rules so u rlly cant blame em💀  |

| This whole episode was really rough to sit through admittedly. I understand why there was a lot of ghosting and dimming but the action even with following regulations looked nauseating at times to me. Animation isn't the best here either. |

| This is the first epsiode where I think the art/animation was kinda bad. Last weeks episode with Mahito against Mechamaru was pretty solid but this week against the grasshopper curse just seemed awkward, more like manga stillframes rather than actual animation. |

| I can never get tired of Gojo when he makes that type of facial expression that makes most enemies whither in fear. I do look forward to seeing more of his fight on the subway tracks against Hanami, Jougo and Choso. Itadori's fight against that grasshopper creature was certainly interesting. The dialogue was pretty funny, although its purpose was to show how Itadori has improved as a fighter. The fight itself did have its issues with the animation. It's not as bad as some people are making it out to be, but thanks in part to the ghosting issues, the quality could've been better as well. At least this issue happened in a minor fight here and not a major one, otherwise I could only imagine how pissed off the fanbase would be if that was the case! ^^; Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if the next episode goes back to a lot of sakuga-fest moments. |
| Im just glad Hidden Inventory got adapted well. Shibuya will be an absolute mess, sadly. Had the potential to be the best animated shounen arc but not with this start. |
| Yeah that grasshopper fight looked super jank. I knew dimming sometimes happened because of broadcasting restrictions but I'd never heard of ghosting. Seeing how derpy this fight looked (especially the "ora ora' bit) I now understand. Well besides the janky fight, the bad dudes are killing a fuck ton of civilians and Gojo is just vibing. |
