Good episode, could be better, could be worse. The holy water part was hilarious though.

Good blend of drama and comedy this episode. That old man refusing to leave his house was pretty funny lol

Wow, out of all the standalone emotional stories in the show, this one has been the best. I am a sucker for found family stories, and the moment the firefighter said he didn't want to see his daughter ashes, and the daughter said she didn't want to see her father's ashes either hit me hard, she was calling him chief before, but in that moment, they accepted the nature of their relationship, besides that all their lines were filled with strong characterization about them. I feel that Gintoki works like a Deus Ex Machina now in this kind of stories so he really isn't that interesting, but as an observer that connects all the stories he's alright. If the firefighter had died the story would have hit a lot lot harder, but bleak stories aren't really the tone of the show so I understand, and the soap bubles speech was beautiful, I loved it.

It was a good little episode. Also, the whole monologue over not allowed to burn your comic was just stupid and these type of things keep on happening I should have expected it.
