| Loved this episode! Check out the big balls on Chrome; I've always liked his character, but this... SMH. He walked right into the lion's den, talking smack, and then gave Tsukasa the finger (yeah - go ahead and drop me, my lips are sealed - now). The introduction of an interesting character, Ukyo. No sonar man would settle for less than a world of science; I think we have another ally. I was hoping to see more reaction from Ruri about Chrome being captured, but - sighs- no such luck; I enjoyed Kohaku's reaction though. |
| I think that Ukyo is actually in progress of figuring out which side might be the best option to side with. He is smart and his skills can easily help him to escape Tsukasa's grasp, when he would need to. Tsukasa's brute force is still something that would become something that lead his side to the winning party. That is why Ukyo is observing and will make his finally choice later on. |

| Just a general impression about this anime since S1. Crazy scientist vibes - nice. Everything else is horribly unintelligent. Including: 1. People turning into stone... author could give a scientifically reasonable explanation for getting Senku into a stoneage... Actually, even truck-kun explanation would be better as it is not pretentious. 2. Cosmonauts arc - they could descend but couldn't save the civilization by at least having more kids and educating them properly? Really? 3. Fighting Tsukasa with 6-year-olds tricks... Season 2 looks ridiculous to me. |

| Chrome is in danger as he is captured by Ukyo and is now in confrontation with Tsukasa himself. On the other side of the domain, Senku had a crazy idea and he and the whole village has built the STEAM ENGINE. Ukyo is actually good and manages to save Chrome, concealing his purpose and is also managed to be saved by Tsukasa with that long javelin throw. Also how the hell did Chrome manage to hear their conversation when he's literally tens of feets below the guys...with the waterfall being a loud background noise. I don't know because...IT'S ANIME?!!! |

| Also that scene where Senkuu and the gang is wearing 1800's Britain clothing looks so much like Moriarty and Patriot and other similar animes, very nice looks for them ngl. |

| This anime is just irresistible. It is getting interesting day by day. Chrome is surely intelligent. He handled the situation well witted. However his big was in the way. Lucky that Ukyo is up to something. Looks like Ukyo is on the side of science but got stuck with Tsukasa. But he will be a twist in this series. Senku just made something impossible. They made engine. No doubt they will make a car very soon. Who knows what will they make! Hail Science Empire. |

| Ukyo doesn't seem to be the type to hurt anyone from the looks of it. If he did, he would've done so at the beginning. Nikki did say that not all of them want to worship Tsukasa. Maybe deep down Ukyo does not like Tsukasa at all. Maybe he's just probably figuring out which side is more worth it. *shrugs* LOL "we're talking about Chrome [x2]" hahaha! |
| TBH, at first when I saw the wheel, I thought they were going with "Flintstones" cars (being stone age...) where you use your feet to move the car... But I totally forgot what this series was about... and BAM, engines and steam-car. |

| Chrom is amazing. He is a real warrior of the science kingdom. Also, the fact that Ukyo was able to nail him to a log while Tsukasa broke another log and threw it his way was amazing. However, Chrom really needs to learn to shut up and this is even more stressed on by Kohaku lol. Ukyo's motives are very mysterious, but yes..... the guy does manage to spark interest. Senku and gang made a car.... let's go vroooom! |

| the turns in the plots are so refreshing lol, this part is only getting better and better. pace feels like it doubled from the first series, like first series was 1-2 chapters and this is 3-4 chapters lol. seeing senku exciting was good xD thought chrome gonna say something better than "colored flames" :facepalm: seems to me that the minute senku made cellephone his inventions getting crazier and crazier... |
| Unfortunately, Chrome was captured so that Magma could escape intact. I think Ukyo will pretend to be Chrome's friend so that he can gain information from him about Senku and his group. |

| Hmmm, so Ukyou has his own plans... I wonder if he decided to lie to Tsukasa, because he also wants to believe in science, or is he planning something else? They need to find a way to make him join the Science side, since their plan won't be able to work with him =/ Honestly, big applause to Chrome, he was completely dedicated to the Science cause, even at the cost of his own life, he didn't even tremble. Chrome is the true MVP of this anime. I'm suprised that Tsukasa actually spared his life. Not only that, but Chrome actually understood really well the situation when they were getting attacked. The shot they gave us of Chrome tearing up his underwear was surprising though xD What a shot to give us xD |

| I have always wondered how the journalist girl even got to know of Ukyo to begin with. I doubt a sonar engineer that works in the military submarine would out themself as a celebrity. This will be the 2nd time Tsukasa ever came face to face after his brief clash against Kohaku. W Chrome, his conviction is awesome, even Tsukasa is impressed. They say a military campaign is just a really sophisticated logistical mission, and the human race will now utilize the power of mechanical vehicles once more! A steam-powered automobile! That has got to be the most uncomfortable and unreliable piece of junk lmao. |

| Chrome is brave for revealing that he's a scientist to Tsukasa and staying loyal to Senku even after he got dropped down a waterfall! Whatever Ukyo's after is a total mystery. But it's clear that he isn't blindly helping Tsukasa. As of right now that's a good thing for the Science kingdom. So awesome that Senku's made it to the industrial age with his steam powered vehicle! Travel times just got reduced! |
