| What an intense match. Datekou is going to be a tough opponent when the new setter gets better. Even tougher than before. I really hope that Yamaguchi will get his moment to shine in the next match. He really deserves and needs it. He needs that little push of confidence to get even better. It must be hard for him to watch all the other first years getting better and stronger and having their great moments out on the court. |

| Lol, and you guys said Johzneji is a joke. See? See? The only joke here is Date. What the hell is with this team? Why is this Koganegawa who looks like a chicken playing with them? How about stronger players? if they had them Johzneji is just a bunch of guys who can have fun but Date....... I'm glad Aoba Johsai won even if I don't really like Oikawa. Anyway, it was so nice to watch a different match than Karasuno's matches. Also, Yacchi is so cute and funny. I adore this girl! ^-^ Seriously, she reminds me about Lucy a lot. |

| The break I was talking about that we needed from the usual structure was this!!! This alone gave me so much needed energy that the series had started to lack. I've wanted a focus on other peoples matches for a long time and seeing it with one of my favorite teams was all I could ask for. I hope we get to see a full Nekoma match in the future! Something that has bothered me this season is how sidelined Noya, Asahi, Suga, and Tanaka have been. Asahi for example's entire character develop and focus this season has been on him trying to do service aces and his practice in that pursuit and we've seen him either hit them or fail them. Likewise, the others I mentioned have been either hardly in the show at all or absolutely unimportant apart from that one skill they've been characterized by. Now, I'm not excusing this because we've had a lack of any amazing moments or nearly any presence from some of these great characters, but we did get focus on the ones who were seemingly sidelined in the first season. I didn't like how Haikyu focuses all or nothing, I'd like moments of detail like when you could see Noya's eyes focus on Asahi when Asahi felt down, or more inner monologues and challenges for individual characters even if only for a temporary cool or dramatic moment. I miss the boys. But, it hit me that not only have we gotten intense focus on those said sidelined characters, but we also got a whole host of new characters to love. Standouts being Lev, Yachi,and Kogane, all of which are some of my favorites, but also characters like Bokuto are great, and ones like Mad Dog may be brilliant too. Again, it could be done so much better in my opinion simply but giving each character more stand out moments even if they don't mean anything monumental in the long run so it doesn't feel like some major and loved characters turned into background characters. But, I'm more lenient because in lieu of doing that we got many great characters and memorable character development we may have gotten less of otherwise. It's just that the last memorable thing I can remember Noya doing is congratulating Ennoshita and the last memorable thing I can remember Asahi doing is getting a service ace or something, for Suga it was planning the synchronization attack. I freaking love Dateko even more than before now. We all knew they couldn't win due to the OP and ED but the match was still a formula break and it was refreshing and a blast to watch and cheer without having direct stakes in the matter. Kogane and Aone are two of my favorites now!!! The energetic and overly serious but earnest giant, and the stone cold and warm-hearted giant. It's so hard not to root for the new iron wall and when Seijoh targeted the weak segment of the wall my heart broke!!! I can't wait to see what comes of them and I truly hope since the Seijoh battle should be the much needed rematch that the major match of next years will be Karasuno vs Dateko. :D P.S. Kageyama watching Kogane be amazing was reminiscent of an amazed little kid and it was adorable. P.S.S. I HOPE YAMAGUCHI WINS THEM THE FINAL POINT WITH A PINCH SERVE THIS TIME!!! |

| So I'm right, with 6 remaining episodes this season will end after Karasuno beats Aoba Johsai. I wish they do it in 3. Not like in the last season I think the fight with them took at least 5 episodes :/ |

| That match was great, I actually feel nervous for the next one lmaoo. I love Oikawa and all, but I also don't want him to beat Karasuno. I think Karasuno will win though ^^ |

| It is really difficult to pick sides in this anime. I like both Seijoh and Dateko so it was sad to see Aone leave though I am happy that Oikawa won. So now it's Seijoh vs Karasuno! The 3rd match between them. Let's see who wins this one. |
