I was honestly expecting that Levi and the rest of Survey Corps will appear, but dang they're worth the wait. Levi is worth the wait. Anbsdhgbisdbgisdhbgdbgfd! FUck.

I wonder if Reiner and Falco were killed when Eren transformed? Ohmygod. Noooooo! And just like that Willy Taybar is killed, though I somehow doubt it for he's a titan shifter, so he can just regenerate his body.

Man, what a chapter.

I kinda hope Reiner and Falco are okay. Altough even if they survive that, I doubt they'll trust Eren unless he somehow took them with him, since it's impossible that Reiner could have transformed (just like Pieck said - 2 shifters transforming in a tight space = the two crushing each other)

I wonder what Zeke is up to. Still not sure if he's with or against Eren. I mean, from what I understood Eren was sending letters to Zeke, so maybe he changed sides? besides, the soldier said >all< the warriors are gone, hinting that Zeke is not reporting back on purpose.

also I think Eren's or whoever's plan it was includes checking if willy is indeed a shifter or not, since Eren purposely threw him into the air. (I think if his intent was to just get rid of him or getting his power he would just burrow through the wooden stage with his face and eat him right away without the need to throw him into the air - if he transforms, Eren will have to fight him + marley army; if he won't transform and just die they probably have a plan B)

In the real world, there's no clear line dividing good from bad.. tho, there is one between what's right and wrong (given the circumstances).

So, let us look at Eren's perspective from this chapter. Willy's someone who's well respected by his piers from all over the world, he definitely has the will and determination to eliminate the rebel faction on paradis island and also has the influence to recruit nations to his cause... Now, let's say u were part of that rebel faction and say u happened to kill willy (someone who's targeting u and claims u are the scourge of the world) and by doing so u have just taken out a BIG threat to the rebels and for that I'd pin a medal on u and call u a Hero. (If we win at the end ofc :P). Now that to me is doing the RIGHT thing (strategically, given the circumstances) It is definitely not the "best or good" course of action but it's easy to understand why some people would confuse 'doing the right thing' as being something that's good but that's almost never the case, unfo..

Now, with that said.. This profound sympathy I see here for the Marlian's and willy who die in this chapter kinda make's me uneasy to be honest. These vile fucks who enslave and brainwash an entire race of people for the misdeeds of their ancestors is gross!! (it's totally understandable why they do so but it's defo not "good" xD) that's like us holding a grudge against the Germans in 2017 coz of what hitler did to the jews some 60+ years ago..

Zeke's role in the buildup to this has been bothering me for months. I couldn't figure out if he was just being used as a distraction for the readers or if he was really complicit in this plot.

IF he is a traitor - then that scene with Eren holding the baseball glove shortly after he was seen using one himself is the smoking gun. Unless it was another misdirection attempt much, like when they showed him immediately after Eren mentioned sending letters to his "family".

If he is still on the side of Marley/Eldia then he was probably aware of the impending attack and went along with it knowing that things were escalating - and is now just laying low so that he can locate and free Piecke and Porco and then launch a counter-attack on Eren's comrades.

I think it's supposed to come down to Titan Eren, Armin and Annie vs Titan Zeke, Porco and Pieke. Reiner will have to fight his inner demons and pick a side once and for all when Hammer-Time Titan appears.

I really hope the momentum of this story isn't disrupted by any flashbacks to Paradis Island.

Zeke's the poster boy for the marley's, he's made the ultimate show of loyalty by ratting on his own parents.. he's drunk the cool aid and at this point is Cpt.Coolaid.

Also, Zeke's grudge match with Levi is still impending, IF he was a traitor that'd be a waste a already well established story line.. highly unlikely.

One thing I am very sure is that Attack on Titan is a great work that is not suitable for those who are not open to perspective and does not have a good understanding on human/societies behaviours and moral obligations.

What Eren did in Chapter 100 was morally wrong but completely justifiable. We all know that Marley seek the Founding Titan to strengthen their military prowess against other nation who have comes out with military technologies that can fight close to equal term with the titans. Marley knew that they had no chance fighting alone against Paradis and thus concoct a story to lie the world that there was an impeding danger/risk coming from Paradis island.

Marley has stir the hornet nest by sending 4 titan shifter to Paradis island that cause the death of many innocent people (>250,000) within the wall.
They even send 24 warships to Paradis when their Titan Shifters has failed. I think that act has simply anger the hornet even further.
By gathering the world leaders and concocting a lies to unite them to strike against Paradis, i feel that Eren action is completely justifiable.

I think Isayama is making a great job at creating this world full of grey characters. Also, is the first time - after all this years of consuming manga/anime - I'm seriously considering re-reading a manga arc... this is just so full of information and little details, particularly the last couple of chapters, that I MUST have missed something here and there.

Willy is not royalty and consuming someone with royal blood won't make Eren able to use powers of the Founding Titan, Grisha couldn't use Founding Titan when he ate Frieda. As far as we know, to be able to use Founding Titan you have to either be a royal or touch a titanized royal.

oh man is eren gonna be the evil that unites all factions from both sides ,i can honestly see mikasa and co fighting together with the "enemies" ,against eren since only he is evil ,and while it'll break my heart to see it ,i want mikasa to be the one to finish eren (kill herself afterward or find happiness elswhere?) cause that would be the perfet tragedy and the most fitting end to this for me

I suppose this would make sense that Isayama mentioned somewhere that Eren and Armin won't always be friends, I think it was at the time of the Return to Shiganshima arc.

Also has anyone else noticed while they were in the carriage talking about infiltration from Paradi Island, the focus on the view outside the carriage is on a person with hat and jacket reading a newspaper front and centre, as the stereotype for a spy usually is? I think there's more than just Eren and Connie/Jean/Armin/whoever in on this. That newspaper guy wouldn't be the focus of that panel unless Willy was being watched. And it isn't necessarily clear whether he sees them or is still looking ahead at the officer with him. Just saying.

I was so certain Rainer will join Eren, and now I think Rainer might be the final boss. Especially if Eren killed his brother (which I hope he didn't.) and his mother in the crowd.
Eren, giving that speech, showing he does not hate Rainer, that he understands his reasoning, but has no choice other than to do the exact same thing reminds me of Red Rising: "I would've lived in peace but my enemies brought me war" I don't know why he wanted to speak with Rainer in the first place, but it was a really touching moment.
I didn't expect Eren of all people to be as merciless,- not with other humans at least. And the Survey Corps (probably) allowed that. I can imagine Levi giving his blessing, but Hange? Historia? They've seriously decided not to take shit from anyone anymore? That or there is a bigger plan at play - I don't see how killing random people is a smart thing to do otherwise.
It's getting kinda hard to root for Eren, but at the same time for the first time in forever, I actually like the character. I really hope this isn't some personal vengeance kill-spree.
All in all - I am hyped for the action.

Am i the only one who thinks the soldier escorting Pieck and the other guy into the titan pit would be no less than Armin himself? It would make sense to have Pieck explicitly mentioning the goatee so as to really portray Armin's maturity. I can't explain how she finds him familiar though, possibly Armin also blended in with the locals in the past and Pieck found it odd that a commoner is now in a military uniform?

@mcdodong303 It crossed my mind too for it to be Armin maybe. He would have changed a lot in those 4 years which is possible but funny to think about.

You do realize that 9 years ago, reiner, annie & bertholdt killed thousands of innocent people when they invaded!! Even though they where kids, they still killed, so its hard for Eren and the others to forget about that!! Now i ask u a question, do u think, by any circumstances, can murder be justified?!! :)

The last time the manga had me hyped so much was when Levi shreddered Zeke's animal titan form. The atmospehre (and especially the Eren-Reiner parts) was rarely as intense as in here.
