The shipping/pairing thread nobody asked! aka What's your favorite BnHA ship/pair?

A ship I really HATE is Ochaco x Bakugou (actually Ochako x anyone that isn't Deku, but especial x Bakugou)

I totally get you since it's exactly the same for me too! (only with different characters and ships)

I might like any Bakugou ships, but my main ship is Bakudeku. And so I can't stand any other Deku ships especially the popular ones like Tododeku, or the closest to canon one like Izuocha!

Consider yourself lucky though! Since it's obvious Horikoshi plan to make Ochako and Deku each other's love interest :D
So I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up together at the end of the series.

1. katsudeku ... I tried going down the tododeku rout... but Deku just clings to Katsuki so much it feels cruel not to ship the MC with his obsession :D and there's a better Todoroki pairing
2. todomomo - They just make sense to me. They are so compatible, reliable, they make a great team. I just like them so much.
3. Tokoyami/Tsuyu - I just like the way their quirks work together and their interesting dynamic when together on screen

Pairings I kind of like:
1. Kaminari/Kirishima
2. Iida/Ochako
3. Al Might/Deku's mom

Pairings I don't like:
1. Ochako/Deku - god spare me... they are sooo boring together...
2. Tomura x Anyone... because I hate the guy and he needs to die... painfully
3. Mineta x anyone ... same reason as Tomura.

KatsuDeku is my guilty pleasure. I've come to grow quite fond of the ship. And bb(ume) is my goddess.

Kiribaku is the most flexible tbh. It can be fluffy, angsty, funny, and hot or all at once.

Tododeku is pure fluff, awkwardness on both party, pure, innocent, etc etc XD

Katsudeku filled with heavy angst and pain, the only ship between the 4 that can fall into a much darker twist, but it can be hilarious too sometimes (usually due to Kacchan). It can also be the cutest and the fluffiest of them all because of the childhood theme and tsundere Kacchan XD

Todobaku is the hottest of them all imo >///<, it can also be the most hilarious (Kacchan's usual hilarity + dorky and awkward Todoroki), it has a bit of darker twist as well with canon animosity between the two.

I love them all

Agreed with everything you said but the Todobaku part.
I don't know why, but even in the manga, I just don't really see any chemistry between them. Outside of Bakugou's anger in the Tournament, there just wasn't enough for me to actually support that ship, especially nothing from Todoroki's side.

Then again, the hero academia fandom ships almost everything, apparently xD

I include Todobaku because it's in the top 4 lol. It's those kind of ship with the sole reason people ship them is because it's hot XD
It's pretty popular because I believe it's universally accepted by the fandom that Bakugou and Todoroki is the hottest boy in BnHA. Also that animosity.
It beats even the canon Izuocha even though we barely see any interaction between Todoroki and Bakugou haha. The power of hot guys + animosity at it's finest.


You wouldn't believe at what I've come across in BnHA fandom so far regarding ships!! I lurk around Bakugou tag all the time, so I know a lot of Bakugou ships... (or so I thought). I swear there is even Noumu x Bakugou and Sludge Monster x Bakugou *cri*

But yesterday, I discovered yet another baffling ships, it's Bakugou x Tokoyamiiiiiiii aaaaaaaaaa, it caught me off guard lol. Also Endervor x Todoroki.... *the horror...* (tho I didn't click the doujinshis in fear, but it might be just a Father-Son bonding... whichi is nice... but I wouldn't risk reading it in fear of seeing something I can't unsee lmao)

So yeah, apparently BnHA fandom ships everything I guess lol

Katsudeku is my only OTP in BnHA in which I put all my heart and soul into it. In which I don't care about their romantic possibility in canon (which is zero) more than their development together as the core of the story. My ultimate satisfaction for this ship would be them become the hero they always wanted, and the journey and struggle together in achieving it. For them to reach mutual forgiveness, trust, respect and understanding, which is no easy feat when it comes to Katsuki and Izuku. Just them finally becoming pro hero AND best friend. Is my ultimate wish for canon Katsudeku.

Some people still not understand that there is really no limit to shipping. As for me, as long as I love the dynamic between the characters and how they are written in canon, I'll ship them. With the hope that they would develop more in canon regardless romantic or not.

You don't have to hope for yaoi ships to not happen because it's the default in every mainstream media, but yeah haha XD

The thing with Katsudeku is... due to the nature of their dynamic, it's soooo easy to twist it into something darker (I love darker twisted romance u///u) uhh I'm talking about fanfictions lol.
Obsessive Behavior, Possesive Behavior, Denial of Feelings, Internalized Homophobic, S/M, are just a few themes that can be featured in Katsudeku without them being too OOC u///u and I have a thing for yandere-ish Deku hahahah
