| I think this might be my favorite title defense so far! Sure, his enemy is pretty one-dimensional in terms of personality, but at least his cheating is portrayed as a bad thing, unlike with some matches before. The food metaphores are dumb, but I am really pumped to see the outcome of this fight. I really like the way they use the epic OST in this season. I also think I've finally gotten used to the new voices! Plus I take back what I said in an earlier post: I actually ended up liking the ED a lot! The OP still sucks though. :P |

| What a start for Ippo, he really got him good because Sawamura didn't anticipate such improvement. Safe to say Ippo already could've won if it not for cheap tricks. After that it was Sawamura who's setting the pace while still holding back and waiting for his chance to enjoy Japans finest meat xD |

| He started off the match as an annoying scumbag so he can rile Ippo up but that moment when he changed gears after he realized that he couldn't afford to keep playing with his food since he ended up biting more than he can chew had the mood do a 180° real quick! Saying that Sawamura's a horrifying opponent would be a grave understatement. |

| i felt this episode was worked very hard on, really first match on this series that got me pump, maybe even than takamura vs hawk in NC, feeling like i came back to first series. i love it! sawamura is more respectable the minute he get serious, but i still cheer for ippo. |
| sawamura's bullet jabs are insane but ippo still wiped the smug off sawamura's face. also nice to see mashiba on ippo's side. |
