They would also research heavily on how to build and properly use a microwave and cellphone.
They would notice how big most human females boobs were.
Humans used to possess a mysterious power effective in destroying both reason and logic. Humans used to call it the nakama power.
Seriously? Lol.
MellowJello said: And they'd also wonder wtf humans are.
This is presumptuous.

Presumptuous.
lupadim said: There are no such thing such as aliens, that would be impossible. But, let's say they exist.
They would not know how to watch it as of they wouldn't have the same computers we have, I highly doubt they would even use a binary system like we use. Things are not that simple.
But, let's say they watch it.
They would think "Wabba zakka madasdals oawpa" probably, but maybe "Makka qoeri zibitiru". If I could translate that to English, it would be: "Wabba zakka madasdals oawpa" and "Makka goeri zibitiru" (translaed by google translator)
Dude why do you even care about hypothetical alien's opinions? Does it even keep you awake during the night?
It's bullshit like this from someone cocky that degrades opinions.
At this point It's futile even bothering with your replies in this thread of conversation. Your fallaciousness ellicits in us quite the fucking headache. Do you want to learn and improve, or do you want to remain contemptuous?
Battlechili1 said: They will discover that humanity was in a terrible state. Humans were constantly under threats from monsters in giant robots, horrific beasts that seem to defy logic known as demons, and a great deal of monsters with tentacles that would attack their prey in a very innapropriate manner. They would see that humans were often barbaric and constantly fighting, and yet, despite this, were smart enough and strong enough to develop technology that could distort time and space. Humans could travel the galaxies, and it is likely that humans could still be alive, as they had the ability to travel beyond the planet. "It is likely that humans abandoned the planet" they might think. And yet, with all the threats, its no wonder that humanity left.
Then they will fearfully leave the planet or tread carefully in fear of tentacle monsters and demons.
Ugh, this is so vague and indirect. This isn't poetry class -- at least be concise.
ckaosinkarnate said: I am guessing that dvd players, blue ray players, tvs, outlets, a source of electricity, and a picture manual on how to set everything up is included- or maybe it's already set up for them? If so, then they would probably be confused like the many humans who haven't been introduced to anime yet. "Their eyes are huge! Where did their nose disappear too? Is that even possible? I guess they really like panties. Those things on their chests are huge and really jiggle. Why is this guy getting so many nosebleeds?" I would guess something like that would be going on in the aliens' minds.
Bad guess. But it's no wonder people reply like this when the OP had no elaboration.
Aloxamax said: They wouldn't understand anything as an alien society from 100 million years in the future cannot possibly share anything in common physically with us, which in turn would affect their ancestral behavior and instincts, which in turn affects the way their society was shaped as well as how they are now.
Heck, even if the ones to find the storage unit were neo-humans that coincidentically evolved in the same way we did on another planet then they still wouldn't understand as they should be much more advanced than we were in the 2000's if they're capable of that level of space travel.
Your postulate is lacking in the first paragraph and thus your statement is invalid.
1L0can0 said: Wouldn't humans who come back to Earth but were born in a different part of the galaxy/different galaxy/different part of the universe/different universe billions from years from now would still technically be an alien?
They wouldn't be 'coming back', but anyway, in almost every logical instance they would be aliens, flat-out. Familiarity requires a certain amount of similarity. And the chances of the existence of other beings with an exact, or near enough exact make-up to humans is dependant on nature treating them identically/almost identically and their choices being identical/almost identical to us (these shape evolution and the present state of mankind). All this is highly unlikely.
lupadim said: It is true enough. We, humans, use a complex system based on binaries, which is nearly impossible for any other race to use. They would develop something way different, as of there are tons of possibilities.
They could always press play.
Immahnoob said:@Lupadim
That's what aliens are, extraterrestrial life that goes from bacteria to beings that are more complex than humans.
Because it's a possibility?
Anyway, I have no idea, they'll probably try to analyze the shit out of it and try to understand what lived here in the past. They'll also probably find out it was some type of entertainment for us, who knows.
You certainly don't know.
Aliens are not what you described. An alien is life outside of earth. Your made-up description is bullshit.
There's no postulate where you can possibly deduce or induce a 'probability'.
Rinkadoshimo said: They would go on MyAnimeList, see this topic and think, damn the title is pretty damn long.
That's what they'd think.
If they understood and were very similar to us, they'd think the comment above you is painstakingly obvious.
