Made me remember how Togashi is always on hiatus. That was 9 years ago! I hope he starts making manga again, at least long before the anime catches up to the current chapter. He had so much time and hasn't made a chapter for over a year but I guess his breaks are necessary. HxH 2011 may end at the current chapter and they may need to do like a Naruto Shippuden kind of thing. I like the way they do fillers in this anime, just adding more content which is better than filler episodes and gives him more time but still. |

| Who cares is Pitou is a guy or girl, all I want to know is where this hype surrounding it is coming from? I've never read the manga and I am trying to stay away from it as to not ruin the series for myself. (I'm enjoying the anime over reading the manga) Is this Pitou character really as awesome as half of you are spouting? I definitely enjoyed this episode but I kind of wished Gon and Kil would of gotten the chance to fight more until Kite rolled a 2 and got that OP'd scythe. That was enjoyable to watch. The plot thickens within the next episode based off the preview. I cannot wait to see these royal guard characters. SIDE NOTE: Where are those damn yo-yos?! |

From a writing standpoint, going through the process of killing ants over and over again would have killed the pacing entirely. But from the character's viewpoint, Gon and Killua going through a crowd of Chimera Ants one by one was a great opportunity. Also, if memory serves (and I may be mixing up the order on this one, let me know), Kite concluded that they would reach the Queen in time before he ended up drawing the scythe. That implies that this group wasn't going to delay them too much even if they went one at a time. Unless you mean that the series literally doesn't have time to go through all the fights, in which case... well, yeah. This was the mook squad, I don't think there was ever really a chance of actually seeing all the fights even if all the fights did end up happening. We'd get a few, and then we'd flash forward to the aftermath. |

They could barely handle Rammot and now that he has developed Nen and all the other Ants are sure to catch on, they are going to have a tough time. But, the tournament style would of slowed it down considerably. So you're right on that but they do have enough time to make it to the Queen. Kite did state that. I'm not even sure why he was participating in these fights to begin with. He is obviously way more powerful than these mooks and kind of contradicted himself a bit by joining the fight. Other than that, I cannot wait to see what Hunters will be joining the fray. |
