| I don't like the way this thread has progressed overnight, when I went to sleep it was just a rumor, and now I wake up to this. I think it's a sign, telling me to give anime a break for a year or two. I've already got Shippuuden on-hold now Fairy Tail, so suddenly aswell. |

| A good news would be more than welcomed.. It is ok if they ever want to stop Fairy Tail for a bit to get some space to the manga BUT not during an arc that is truly really nice. I would be sad but accept it if they pause it for a while after this arc, but that would be ok. And I would not understand if they kick all fans into the balls by letting it end during an epic arc. And like people already said: It's not officially confirmed so people.. please stop posting the ANN link xD I just created the thread because there was a possibility, so don't assume anything right now.. :o Our hope lies in Mashima-sensei, and if the post above mine is accurate, then I really hope to read something nice from him >:D |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| Maybe it's just my stupid idea, but I think that Fairy Tail is going to enter it's final arc and Mashima just want to draw it and than make rest of anime, just to avoid too many unnecessary fillers and lots of flashbacks in every single episode. Do you think that's possible? |
| I really dnt want it to end....its has very gud ratings....having 200,000 fans is no joke...its really unfortunate if it ends.... btw, march 30th is jst b4 april....maybe, jst maybe...they r trying to april fool us. lol..its jst a thought^^ |

The DVD sales are the pits, only 400 copies sold. The TV ratings are atrocious too, as bad as Naruto's. The animation really butchered the manga :( |
| I personally see the chance of Fairy Tail getting a reboot or continuation as slim as the chance"Zatch Bell" or "Beelzebub" has. I do however believe that "Bleach" and "Kenichi" will eventually return. Seems like I'm in the minority in believing that Hiro Mashima's "good news" is simply referring to his rumored new series. Will have to wait and see. ^_^ |

| I am really hoping this is some stunt and not the actual end of the anime. I guess I could always start reading the manga but I want the anime D:. I hope the 'news' is something positive about it and not something unrelated like another series I don't care about. Well we will see D:. |

But yeah,we all wish the animation was better so it could be epic like Mashima's drawing and,well,so the anime didn't have to end,actually having better ratings and sales. Still,we should wait to hear whatever Mashima will tell us once he can. |

| I share the belief that this seems more like a break to me than an actual end to the series, especially considering how close to the manga it's running. I also think that long term this could be a good move by the studio since if it waits a few arc the anime can get rolling again with no filler. I'm expecting it to start up again either around summer next year considering how the manga goes. Also if i'm not wrong the manga of fairy tail should be selling pretty high which is being boosted by the tv series. |

| HA! thats what they get for adding in to much fan service and making it boring and a real drag to watch till they get back to the main story. I really do enjoy fairy tail but when they slip in the hole episodes of fan service, it just annoys the hell out of me >.> |

I can’t write more but I hope fans watch Reruns(from April) and wait till I can announce some good news. In Japan, Fairytail rerun starts from April, in the name of ‘Best of Fairytail’. (every Thursday pm 5:30) It seems some repeat of main episodes.
