I also internalize like hell so that helps lol. Today in particular, the self name "diva" in choir wouldn't switch to second (metzo) soprano... even though the director had gotten me to sing with them JUST to help out the first (lyric) sopranos and to hit the high notes. I have a higher voice than her, that's just as strong as hers , it made sense. Plus the second sopranos NEED help. Kinda irked me but I was just there to help out and rolled my eyes thinking, "typical". She's the type that cozies up to the director just to get solos and crap. It just HAS to be her show. She wouldn't know peissimo if she fell over it. Peissimo=sing softly in this case. Eh, I should thank her though. If she hadn't been such a jealous diva bitch when I was a teenager, I would never have started voice lessons in order to become a better singer than her. Oh there was so much joy when I surpassed her. :D |
