| Can't blame Rintaro for not wanting to talk about it. Like, what if they tell him to stop talking to her? That's probably not why he didn't tell them. But I understand. Feel bad for the friends too cause they probably feel betrayed. But it's a good thing they still decided to trust him. They're good friends. And Ig that's why they probably wouldn't tell Rintaro to do that if he did open up to them. Lmao. I laughed at the scene where Rintaro was hiding from Kaoruko for some reason. It was so funny but also wholesome. Rintaro still doesn't understand his feelings for Kaoruko. It's love, dummy! But I guess he's just too young and immature to understand it. It also doesn't help that he grew up in an environment where not many people showed him much affection. You can feel love without confessing or even fully understanding what you're feeling is love. So many people don't understand that simple concept. Rintaro's mom is the GOAT. It feels refreshing to see a good parent after watching Takopi... I really needed this. Interesting that she used to have black hair. I guess she dyed her hair to support her son? If so, that's awesome. Everyone deserves a mom like her. Talking with Rintaro didn't work. So it seems Subaru is going directly to Kaoruko. Ig it makes sense. But I hope she will also tell her that she can't stop seeing Rintaro. She probably doesn't realize that she's in love with him either. Really like this episode. I think I'm finally starting to get a bit hooked on this anime. It only took 5 episodes. |
| Kyouko is an amazing mom but it's hilarious how she had to fourth-guess the notion of him passing all his tests. Getting to see Rintaro laugh as heartily as he did was Waguri's true reward. |

| aaaa what a good episode, I really like the relationship between the two of them and my god, how I love his mother, she is perfect, she has helped him since he was little, and later on in the story, he will talk a little about her and I get more and more emotional when I see that part, the episode was perfect, looking forward to the next one |

| I love every single character in this anime. Rintaro and Kaoruko may be the main characters, but the supporting cast, like Saku, Shouhei, Ayato, and Subaru, also have a lot of depth. They all genuinely care about their friends, which I really appreciate. That aside, Kaoruko’s outfit was so elegant and beautiful when she visited Rintaro’s store. She definitely looked the part of a Kikyo princess, haha. I also loved how adorable she was when she wanted to high-five Rintaro for passing his midterms, it was so cute. Kaoruko aside, I really hope Saku and Rintaro make up soon. I’m really starting to love Saku, and since Rintaro gets a lot of screen time, I don’t want Saku to disappear just because the two of them are on bad terms. So come on, hurry up and make up already! |

"My heart was clouded but for a moment it got cleared"   That beautiful smile and the soft colors popping in rintaros inner thoughts after his anxiousness passed away just like that. Ah Rintarou you sweet summer child you just dont know it yet. This was my favorite moment ngl. Also mom officially has become the first Wingman of the series for them. Speaking of mom, The dinner scene was just pleasant. Its such a hearwarming and joyful moment seeing her boy finally getting better in life & recovering. So happy for her and its because of waguris presence in his life & somewhere mom knows that. Also rentarou got some good advice from her so hopefully it will help him mend the tension between his friends & knowing how close & caring they are i am sure it will work out especially for saku. Now Subaru has called out waguri for telling her about her talk with rentarou. Maybe out of guilt for going behind her back? or might even tell waguri to stop seeing him Lets see how waguri reacts to it. |
| first four episodes are really good but it's getting annoying real quick, everyone's such a drama queen especially rintarou, worst the drama and conflicts are both shallow and glorified highschool students btw, yet they're this childish mentally, bad writing |

| Alright alright. I will try not to sound like Donnie Thornberry when writing these. I reread some of the things I wrote and they didn't sound cohesive at all. Anyway this is a working progress, and hopefully a developing one. For this episode, it felt like all my predictions were coming to light. Let me explain. Rintarou doesnt want to tell his friends what had happened last ep with waguri due to the assumption they will tell him to give up on her. But this damaged his relationship with his friends and they won't view him as closely. Well at first I though so til they were open to the idea of him coming them when he's ready. But from Rintarou's perspective this is damaging though its only implied, heavily. And it kind of gives it the Romeo and Juliet effect when you see it from Rintarou's perspective. Of Course, this builds a closer relationship with Waguri and he (Rintarou) the courage to message her that he had lacked from last week due to Subaru's request, and it seems like subaru didnt give up eithe. We'll come back to that. Which I though was closing the gap, when THIS JACKASS acted distancnt towards the very person that helped him. Now, I know he's having issues with his friends and he's trying not to push his relationship, a close as he already is, even closer to waguri-even though that poor girl is trying. He ends up creating a rift that he didnt notice within waguri. Because he was to caught up in how he was acting in front of his buddies. My prediction was that in helping Rintarou, Waguri might end up loosing her foot hold in at school shes going to. It seems "her reward" for herself proves she's fine? but I don't think the show would hide or avoid telling us out right what her placement was. Which is she depends on to not get outcast from closed-minded teachers and students alike. But my god shes so sweet. I really hope that I am wrong, but it looks like she's gonna not see him in the coming episodes making this big commotion due two or three things 1. school is forcing her to (her princple or media painting a negative narrative around her forcing her to not see him 2. grades is forcing her to (she loses her ranking by like 1 and the whole school shuns her for it) 3. friends/teacher are forcing her to (forcing her to not see him regardless) which I didnt think 3. would probably be one of them. I guess if you through enough shit at the wall, it will end up sticking to it. My point is what the hell is subaru gonna say? Prediction time "He touched me, and he said your next" "he said he was gonna do bad things to you" "he doesnt like you and is only keeping you around because he feels sorry for you" "He wants nothing to do with you, because he's a horrible human being" π ok this might be out of character for subaru considering she went out of her way to have a meaningful conversation. Hopefully that was way more cohesive. Rating time Plot: 10/10 I really enjoyed it, but man. I hate miscommunication but this show is doing it in a well articuated manner. And again, it still feels so cliche. BackStory: -/10 there was none OST: cute/10 very cute beep boop Theme: misunderstanding/10 wack, I hate it Overall: 7/10 not my fav episode but its gotta be there I guess THANKYOU BYEE |

| You would think someone died by how they were taking the drama at the start of the episode lol, good lord people. I also wasn’t the biggest fan of Rintaro in this one, I get that this situation is eating away at him but it was kinda annoying when bro would just lock up and not say anything, can’t blame Saku for getting mad at that point. But I did like that afterward they realized that Rintaro was being honest in his withholding of information, instead of beating around the bush he straight up said that he didn’t want to tell them, that’s a good way of looking at it, hopefully Saku and Rintaro’s friendship can be mended soon. And that is an absolute W of a mom Rintaro has, his ass was trying to hide from Kaoruko and she said no you ain’t lol, and in her forcing the two of them to talk alone together, Rintaro’s depression was cleared, it would be hard to stay depressed for long while talking to Kaoruko so it makes sense lol. And that scene between Rintaro and his mom afterward, she is such a sweet mom, she’s the definition of the saying “mama knows best”. But that scene at the end tho, is Subaru gonna come clean on her convo with Rintaro? Would be cool if she did, I thought she was gonna make up some lie instead for drama’s sake (she still might), but it’s looking like things are gonna be cleared up soon. |

Not gonna lie, I felt slightly annoyed during most of the episode until the last 7-8 minutes or so with Kaoruko coming to the cake shop (loved her outfit, btw) and the dinner scene with Rintarou and his mother. In that regard, Kaoruko's cute awkwardness and Rintarou's mother's speech during dinner saved the episode from being a complete waste of time in my book. |
| You can't help but love Kaoruko even more. So, Rintaro's friends found out, but he won't talk. Now Saku's angry and worried. Kaoruko went to Rintaro's cafe and got some cake, and managed to cheer up Rintaro. At the end, Subaru wanted to talk to Kaoruko about her talk with Rintaro. And that's where it ended. I have to wait 3 more days to see what happened! I can't stop loving this series. Kaoruko has the purest heart of any character I have ever seen. I want to see them succeed as a couple, even though they have a massive obstacle. I'm curious about what Subaru is going to tell Kaoruko and what Rintaro is going to tell his friends. They seem to be good guys. They want to know the problem, and seem to want to support Rintaro. |

OK, the guy is totally confused by his feelings, but he snatched the book from Ayato like some petulant toddler (which I think comes over as worse in the anime than it does in the manga) and then refused to explain why. This group of friends is built on some specific interrelationships that look as though they may be starting to crumble and Saku is really shaken by the whole thing. So if it's all a bit over the top right now, just bear with it. |
