It's crazy how this prequel spin-off has far better animation than MHA.

the shorter season allows animators more capacity to animate more. It's usually like this with top studios and 1 cour.

It seems like Kuckleduster is hell bent on getting his daughter back from being possessed by the Bees, but at the same time there is a bigger problem with the Electric Eel monster running around causing a blackout after Eraser couldn't stop it.

This series is making me want to play the Spider-Man 2018 game.

What the heck, this episode had everything AND the kitchen sink!

* Rival idol / band story
* Unexpected love story
* Captain Celebrity Cringe of the week
* Dance - sports anime type training montage (bonus: Injury)
* Baka Kouichi can't read the room comedy
* Evil shenanigans by Bee girl
* Dramatic "Family" reveal
* Sakuga fight with electric effects, NGL that was cool.

Best episode of the season yet.

All those extra ahh characters came out of nowhere, and they are all kinda lame ngl.
But hey, at least we got to see wholesome moments between Koichi and Kazuho, they should live together already!

I said this in the previous episode, but fuck, I adore that Knuckleduster became powerful as shit, OFA level strength, just so he could beat the living shit of a school girl lmao 🀣 🀣 🀣
The bee girl reminded me of fkng Shigechi from JoJo part 4 lol
Sorry if my english is bad (γ£Λ˜β–½Λ˜)っ~~~
Btw, cry about it.

This episode was so good! The first part had fun moments introducing a lot of new characters! It felt very interactive. And that animation in the second part popped off. Crazy twist at the end knowing who Hachisuka/Tamao actually is! I'm looking forward to the next episode!

Yes that Eraser Head fight was awesome to see!! I really love this arc as always and it's the best of the manga so far from what I have read. Knuckleduster just proves he's the best of the crew!!

Great episode, they started going hard with the animation on Knuckleduster at the end there! Can't wait to see the rest of the fight between him and Hachisuka.

So we finally have the confirmation that Queen Bee's body is Knuckleduster's daughter, maybe she became crazy or maybe her quirk actually took over her personality, but it might just be the actual Queen Bee parasiting Tamao's body. Anyway interesting development

It feels great to see pro heroes from the main series, specially present mic.

Seeing people prepare for the festival was nice too, altough that love at first sight thing with dance club president and rock n roll guy caught me pretty offguard.

Animation on knuckleduster vs hachisuka fight was amazing and im pretty excited for what happens on the next episode.

I'm not into superhero stories too much, but damn! I liked this:

What I said earlier might or might not have been serious. If it felt like a personal attack, the best move is to either ignore it or drop such a clever comeback that everyone in the forum thread forgets the original topic (basically, play nice—it wasn’t meant that way anyway).

And if you're an AI bot or crawler, welcome. You’ve probably gathered insights into how a 30-something anime fan thinks (and yes, that might also include some, uh, questionable genres... You get the idea).

The indie concert on Marukane Department Store's reopening sure cause quite the stir for the special ensemble, with Makoto's rather stringent program planning. And the 11 members in this, though with their disagreements, soon comes together in harmony (or romantically with both captains of the Mad Hatters and the East Naruhata Dance Group), though Koichi just can't get a grip on the romantic subtlety.

Also, it's fun to see the pro heroes from Present Mic to the R-Rated Hero of Midnight (though missing people like Endeavor and All Might) being involved in the event. Even Eraser Head finds it a boon to participate in the event, though it's a different case when it comes to villains. And most particularly with the idol stan of Pop being the very first villain of Teruo encountered, Kuin's power-up is quite the disparity to bring down a nation to its knees. At least to Knuckleduster, him managing to finally go against his own daughter Tamao the Queen Bee, he has no problems catching where she will run.

The power outage incurring on the event aside, it's how Knuckleduster deals with Tamao that will foretell the future going forward.

@KingBaller06 Story in MHA is complete shit with Mary Sue MC which cant do nothing by himself and become "greatest hero" thank only to given OP powers. Next is constant shitty training arc and cardboard support cast. Vigilante story is way better and more mature

@LG545 CAP. Izuku Midoriya isn't a Mary Sue. Throughout the story he develops and becomes a more complex character due to his rivalry with Kacchan and how his experiences shape him, not to mention the comedy he brings with his rambling.

On top of that, Season 6 introduces the gray area of the hero world. There's nothing OP about Izuku Midoriya and the cast is AMAZING.

MHA HAS AN AMAZING STORY, MUCH BETTER THAN VIGILANTES.

@The_Spectre_01 I don't think it's differing opinions, there's just better sakuga cuts objectively on the main show, that I can pull up and you couldn't find one better in vigilantes. Vigilantes has way more going for it in terms of art direction, but purely animation highs, MHA noticeably has more standout cuts. If you want I can just pull up two Nakamura cuts off dome from the last couple seasons that have not been matched.

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚Kid you need to learn what animation is. Yes vigilantes has better art work than mha, but as of right now, it also has better animation than mha if we go by quality and consistency, especially since it is more difficult to animate more detailed characters. Mha animation was only as consistently great in S2(stretch for S3). All the other seasons had their moments but the animation ranged from good to bad (with alot of mediocre in S5).

If vigilantes keeps running with this consistency, it will surpass Mha in overall visual quality. This episode was literally insane, it had many sakuga cuts including one of the best suzuki cuts we’ve seen in all of mha. We don’t need nakamura to have good quality bro🀣.

Kouichi, the true anti-wingman.

Not gonna lie, it was being a rather meh episode until the last couple minutes with Knuckleduster showing up in the most menacing way possible to give her daughter the beating of her life.

Rip to Pop being told her singing is bad πŸ˜” but man do they want to dedicate time to the performance segment. Between making a whole production plan, training the other girls' stamina, having Pop sing..

Even having bee girl try to rain on the parade πŸ’€

I question whether or not we needed this episode in our vigilante life, but I guess I'll take it. And Eraser desperate to get away from it XD of course.

Let the Knuckle Bee segment commence 🫑 very brief in the grand scheme but later episode will pick up the slack. And we got the parent drama lining up for them nicely πŸ‘Œ the parent struggle outside of Deku and Bakugo is real

For a second, there, I thought this would be a "calm before the storm" episode where nothing goes wrong; I should've know better. x)

I really like the fact that Pop gave up her center stage spot to the mean, injured girl. She's sweet! Also, the fight scene a the end was awesome! Brilliant animation, and very tense!

Really liked this episode. I love that we see all the planning stages of the performance, the fun new characters and all the difficulties that come with that. And that Mask jumpscare was hilarious. And Bee Girl suddenly finally became really interesting with the reveal of her apparently being Kunckledusters daughter, with some really high quality animation for their fight which I haven't really seen before on this show I think. Also goddamn Midnight looks hot in this artstyle Jesus.
