Yes, near Hauptbahnhof there were some sketchy individuals, and I was asked if I wanted Koks/bumsen if I was near it past 8pm, but I disarmed them all with my trap card "Sorry I don't speak German" All in all, it felt safe enough other than a small region of it that felt uncomfortable (Kaiserviertel iirc) |

| @Auron It's a big city, agglomeration even: Hauptbahnhof is dirty yet safe, but there are some hilarious favelas outside the main transport ring, where I bet you would feel slightly uncomfortable, haha. But we shouldn't talk about those nice diverse neighborhoods where yesterday's virgins plea for mercy, yet noone understands the language of the minority that used to populate the place. I better tell you an anecdote. PS: Come to Munich next time! |

| If you want to believe the official criminal statistics, my city is supposedly the safest one in my region. I don't live in any sketchy neighborhood nor do I visit any at night, so I've never had to face any real threat. Probably my biggest advantage is me being able to blend in well with the population and looking inconspicuously regardless of the ethnical mixture of the place. Also, I'm not born as a female nor do I try to give the impression, so I have a safer starting point right away |

| Uhh well my neighbourhoods pretty nice, honestly one of the richer neighbourhoods in Ottawa. Only thing is some of the surrounding area and the school I go to is ABSOLUTELY ghetto. Okay so basically my school has a pretty bad reputation, it's surrounded by most of the "sketchy" parts of the city and it's just pretty well-known to be a sketchy school. I've only been to the school for around like 2.5 years, some of my friends and classmates I know are into drugs, shoplifting, etc. But I just stay away from school drama and generally bad stuff, and they know that, so we basically talk from time to time but they never really pressure me to do anything. I also have to deal with crackheads sometimes while going to and from school, some try to talk to me or whatever, but I just wave, say hi or whatever and try to have as little interaction as possible. Also not my neighbourhood but the neighbourhood beside mine is SUPER sketchy especially on this one specific street which I'll just call Street C, for the sake of not revealing the name. Now I sometimes walk through Street C to meet up with friends, usually during day or at latest, sunset, but I'll NEVER walk through there in the night. There's probably been like at least 10-15 shootings and homicides on that exact same street this past decade or so? Which is pretty bad considering Street C isn't even a kilometer long and has that much crime, so like yeah. And okay, I know I said my own neighbourhood was nice, but there have been a few petty crimes here and there, like 2 attempted car thefts on my dad's car, but nothing really ended up happening. |
