Decent episode. The fated two have finally been brought together by the thread of fate. Not a whole lot to talk about in this episode really, since its first quarter was a fight including our boy Arthur & some scummy hooligans, with Arthur's flawless victory, of course.

Then we proceeded to see two fated kids brought together by the thread of fate converse for like 16 minutes, since the fight took 7 minutes due to the fact that Arthur trailed them hoping they'd lead him to any human territory, which in fact, i hoped they would've had.

Due to the fact that i ain't loving Tessia one bit, so i hoped they would've lead Arthur to the closest human territory, then ambush them, eradicating them the way he did at the place they fought their fight during the first 7 minutes of the episode.

Then again, who exactly is yours truly against the thread of fate who brought the fated two together? I shall wait for thee in the Elenoir Kingdom, Arthur.

@Chalc_ Yep from what I recall they skipped the part of Arthur actually going to the cave and they made it feel way quicker. Obviously they covered the main plot points of Arthur learning the technique but it didn't hit at all the same then again episode 4 was pretty slow like we've covered 19 chapters in 4 episodes which usually would be a lot but given they've been cutting content left and right (and adding random new content that alludes to massive spoilers not even covered by chapter 212 in the manwha rn it feels so random)

@ConClasher3 Bro, i just put in random BS in my review due to not knowing what to say at all, i gave this anime a 10/10 due to troll, but seriously, episodes are boring, cliffhangers don't hit that hard at all, it ain't about the animation anymore, it's about how the episodes feel so boring and empty, idk.

I said only Ripoff Sylphy can save this anime for me. And Tessia not doing enough. Nothing to hate she is fine o her own but other things are so bad not possible.
Kana Ichinose performance is probably the best thing that happened to this garbage.

This was built up as something big but it's just cheap ass power fantasy in the end huh and also boring. Imagine getting bored with a single scene of Sylphy na I can't. Also the shameless author is trying to insert dig at MT from what he stole from 🤣🤣

1 more to episode to see what happens with Elfs.

This episode was honestly really disappointing. I have read the Manwah and I have to say, it is way better.

I actually like the anime style a bit more than the Manwah, but the episode just couldnt match the depth and excitement of the original. It is missing the emotional moments and the depth that make the story in the Manwah so good.

I could probably overlook that if the action scenes were at least amazing, but honestly, that is one of the worst parts of the anime. Mushoku Tensei Anime is miles ahead in terms of quality. Hopefully the next episodes will be better, but this one was definitely a low point for me.

Was that all? They simply walk and walk. Nothing new except for meeting the elf girl, that suspicious portal, and her cold expression at the end. It was disappointing, particularly the animation. I like the art, but the animation was a bit poor still.

This scene was unironically the funniest thing I have seen all week.
I feel so let down by this animation, as I know that the story they have hear is pretty decent but with this animation I just can't.

Besides that it was good to see Aruther finally get some action...even if it was a few still frames.

they could've skipped the part in-between where art & tessia were traveling and jumped straight to when they crossed the teleportation thing. after art rescued the elf girl, the rest of the episode just felt draggy & a filler. hopefully the episode picks up pace in the next episode.

Even tho this show receive some intense criticism, according to the statistics people are just keep tuning in to watch it. Which is very interesting.
Also if your world is filled with bandits without any reasonable explaination it is a bad writing, no offence to fans but the author just creates endless dummies to fight against.

I've heard recently about it and just started to watch all 4 eps at once and i'm not really convinced... there are some serious and less serious plotholes, e.g. why is he able to understand their language right in the beginning? (ok, that's a small one and could easily be fixed) or why is he able to read their language without undergoing some school?
i kinda like the idea of this anime (experiencing and learning about love and care and slowly getting changed by it), but it happens too quickly and he's way too childish for being an icecold king in his former life. I mean I understand his physical limitations since he's still a child now, but his mind is still the same as it was in his past life.
It has some really striking similarities with Mushoku Tensei storywise, but the animation quality is fa~r from it. Anyway i guess i keep watching since i like the base idea and hope for some improvment in storytelling...

Dude seriously da fuq? I was honestly giving this show the benefit of the doubt after episode 3 were it managed to actually feel sad with Silvya´s Sacrifice more than in the manga

But here? The changes make to the fight the bandits and the rescue of Tess doesn't make any sense. We didn´t need the compassion towards the dogs, they eating one of the bandit was dope as fuck plus the whole flow of the battle show how so ruthless can Arthur be. The amount of animation the due to the release of them was a waste that could have been use to not use a png for Tess at that moment (The manga literally implies that Arhur covers Tess´s eyes as she gets out of the cart so she doesn't see the bodies)

AND WAT DA FUQ WAS THAT ENDING? Honestly if they fucked up chapter 5 scene with the Deviant Elf mage (if you know, you know) I am gonna totally drop this

@ConClasher3 Nah, it's perfectly fine. I already have IRL friends who have spoiled me almost the whole thing, so it don't really matter. I'm a rare type of weeb who gets even more excited and hooked upon being spoiled, dunno why. Only in cases where i don't know anything about an anime or a comic, just to get hooked to start reading or watching it. But if i get spoiled about something i'm already reading or watching, that i hate.

i'm not a manga reader... so i don't get all the hypes when this came out. To me this was another standard anime with a protag welding magic in a kingdom... and honestly i never saw any special potential since episode 1. I see the new episode was down voted by a lot of viewers, to me it was just one of its average episodes. And I see tons of you saying the story is the only thing carry its weight, but i find the story up til now extremely boring, nothing I haven't seen before. I don't have much qualms about the animation cuz like i said it's been mid from the get go lol, but if i'm bored with the story then I think it's fine time I let this one go.
