Oh my gosh, I'm so happy that they addressed how weird it is the way the petrification devices were rained down en masse when one could have settled the matter cleanly. It has been bothering me since the last season ended.

I was afraid they'd skip past the part where Francois makes everyone their drinks. I'm glad that was not the case!
Also the whole scene where Chrome uses the prism was super fun!

Seeing Francois making those drinks, I suddenly miss doing it too. I miss my bartending strand... lol.

They've reached Americas now, will they be greeted with a nice cup of LiberTEA?

Anyway, the stone device island went backwards in time, from bunch of modern cosmonauts to feudal japan to stone age islanders. It doesnt compute with me.

Great episode! This one has everything I love about Dr Stone. I'm glad they broke down the beer making process. I was a little surprised in the last episode when the "Beer acquired" popped up without showing the steps leading up to it. Plus the wisdom of Fracois and the cocktails/mocktails was just fantastic. Top it off with the sunstone. A 10 billion percent perfect episode.

That was so sick, especially with using GPS to track your location via timekeeping comparisons between locations, and the sunstone navigation on top of that. Learning so much.

The Perseus's casino affair is pretty much picture perfect when paired with booze, and even François has cocktails prepared for those who don't take alcohol.

The drink-making cocktails continue their experimentation, though Chrome and the others are afraid of various poisons being added to it, which this gum syrup definitely is a guilty pleasure to make lactic drinks, which helps in the cocktail making, perfect for people like Suika. Of course, part of the flair for being a bartender is serving guests with both skill and taste.

Matsukaze having survived the heinous threat of the petrification weapon for the longest time, even losing his master in the process of eradicating the people using the device for their nefarious gains, it's one part of why Yes Man is quite the figure that he must take down. That's why they need the help of Hyoga, though reviving both Moz and Homura being his simple request, it's getting Matsukaze all trained up for battle.

The technical stuff can be calculated by the science guys just fine where Perseus is at, but veering the ship towards a storm certainly is not where the gang needs to be right now, and making a calcite sunstone certainly will still lead them to the right path, similar to how the Vikings traverse the seas. And soon, through thick and then, land is discovered, and they reach the land of the Liberty.

Americas, here we come!

Well, we're finally getting into the story, since by the end of the episode our cast finally reached America, where I think things will start to heat up!

I was finally able to continue watching this 4th season of Dr. Stone, and this episode is already much better than the last one.
I particularly liked the Matsukaze backstory, that was long due. His master dying knowing perfectly well that whoever threw those petrifying machines wanted for people to fight each other.
Also, Matsukaze wanting to feel Tsukasa's chest was really funny.

They also revived Hyouga and the other 2. It seems like Hyouga can finally teach Mozu his art (alongside with Matsukaze). Also, the fact that he made sure he could also revive Homura hint that her feelings towards him go both ways!

Now, I feel like in the next episode things are going down, so really curious to watch it.

I think most of those that drink beer are underage, but who cares about law anyway when the civilization reverted back to stone age. But hey, isn't it nice to know each character's cocktail formula? It's also one form of fanservice.

Talking about fanservice, drunk Matsukaze hugging Tsukasa's chest is tempting me, who wouldn't want to hug Tsukasa! And now this ship is joined by another hot hunks like Moz and Hyoga, can I get a ticket to board this ship please?

Considering most of the character are the same from the beginning of the anime (in season 1), and since then it has been more than 2 years, I suspect most of them might be adults by law now.

Senkuu's proud eyes when he looks at Chrome, it was a nice moment. Chrome started out as someone ignorant in scientific matters, but his curiosity and great exploration skills led him to become a valuable member of the group, even coming up with ideas that never crossed Senkuu's mind.

I noticed this too! It seems has the aniem progresses, he's more and more prouder of what Chrome can do, and it genuinely feels like he wished that Chrome could have been born in a time where Science was more development, like Senku did, so that he could have had the same opportunities as him. In a way, Senku really seems to really like Chrome, like they could be best bros.

It's kind of stupid that they are using their "GPS" with the Sun and time, but they don't even mention using a compass (which is trivial to make) and a star map.

Also, sailors drank a lot of beer because that was the safest way to store beverages, since fresh water isn't easy to come by.

Imagine, even in their world, which is still far from modern, they can also make various non-alcoholic cocktails?

With a bar, drinks, casino, and a flashback, the episode moves along.

I’m not sure if reviving Hyouga is a good idea. It’s not about doubting his strength—we know he’s powerful—but there’s always the risk of betrayal down the line.

After a bit of a rough time, the gang finally reaches America! The real adventure begins—shifting from a sea voyage to a land expedition.

Alcohol, bartending and drinking... On the greatest Cruise ship, the biggest, fastest and quite literally one of a kind in the world!
Very chill, I got the joy that they're experiencing as well since I so happen to be drinking my iced matcha latte as I watch Francois serve named drinks to the crews!

Matsukaze's backstory may seem to just be a sob story, but it actually gave a very big clue to the nature behind the petrification devices. Especially at the point that his master said regarding how it seems like the 'Heavens' are trying to turn humankind against one another.

Well, anyway, the ship sailed on and on, too bad there weren't that many chapters to adapt for this whole trans-Pacific voyage, but this is only the beginning of their grand adventure! We now have Hyoga, along with Homura and Moz, taking the roles of fighters and renaissance. The more the merrier, especially considering they're quite literally re-discovering a new world, AKA the North American Continent, doing the exact same thing as Leif Erikson and Columbus from several thousand years ago.

Land Ahoy mateys!
