| i didn't know "Shig" held such a high position within the guild, but at least he was able to get rid of Margulus and Saberia, but now he's got Laust under surveillance after showing that burst of power & beating that hydra. |

| How this has a 6.25 right now is beyond me with this writing and level of/lack of animation it should be sitting in the 4 range at best. They literally can't even show you Narsena being "held hostage" in any way so they have the characters tell us?... lol I don't think we've really seen the hydra move either... what a mess. Writing is that of a really shallow creative writing of a anime fan in middle school. People don't work like Laust seems to think they do...and hearing a few fluffy words won't truly change them. People can be reformed and change but if you just let people get away with terrible things with a pat on the back you don't usual end up with good results...so lame |

| Yeah... 3/5... Laust needs to keep his mouth shut. We all know the Hydra gave Laust a special look, but why do I get this feeling the Hydra was specifically trying to activate Laust's Sage-Mode (Naruto/Boruto reference). Apparently he is investigation target #1, so looks like the 5 of them will in fact become a party. |

I think direction could be better since some episodes do feel anticlimactic.

A lot of people hate the MC because he literally let two people go, who since day one been defrauding him of his pay, forcing him to sleep in a closet, made fun of him I front of everyone and then tried to convince him that selling one of his companions who was UNCONSCIOUS to slavery. I’m sorry you can’t say he is an actual good person he is just idiotic and an idealistic. Yes there are many annoying MC this season and many others but this MC feels like who would have forgiven people who burned a whole village alive saying that they deserved a second chance

| so... is MC a super intelligent monster or something? They mentioned intelligent monster and the old dude mentioned awaken RIGHT BEFORE MC transformed... Sounds like the MC is secretly even unbeknownst to himself... that he's part "monster". Which would somewhat explain how he can do things that normal people can not. Such as stacking heals. Or even learning other class techniques. As we've so far seen... everyone is nearly focused onto just one class and doesn't really do anything else but just that one class. |

| Narsena is making good progress with Laust for her own training, and for a truce, the original Blades of Lightning party, along with Narsena and Sieg, attempts a second takedown of the hydra. And though successive at first, the now 4-man party, almost losing Armia for the moment, concedes the fight to let Laust, Narsena and Sieg continue. As expected, the hydra will only entertain Laust, and despite the difficulty, he managed to take it down. But come the rewards, and it's clear that he favours himself and Saberia above all else, before both Sieg and Lyra would dispute this, especially the former who comes as an official sanctioned adventurer from the royal capital's Adventurer's Guild investigating matters for himself. And thanks to the lenience of Laust, both Margulus and Saberia were being kicked out of town instead. The systemic problem is about to get worse with what Sieg dictates is a takeover of Guilds, and most certainly, having him alongside Lyra and Armia, as well as Laust, will be for the best. |

| Ok that demon transformation thing has made things interesting. HOWEVER! The MC asking to spare those two is just plain stupid and naive. MCs like this are just meh. They're unreleastic and I could accept them more in the earlier days of anime but now that I've watched so many of these series, these MCs are just boring. He just has the default nice guy personality installed and wont do anything outside of that mold. The series hasnt given any redeeming qualities to those two and have only shown their bad sides. But the series is expecting us to believe they're worthy of a second chance? They already got their second chance when they recruited a new person and repeated the exact same thing. I honestly dont blame all the people dropping this series. It is very close to the painfully average rating. The only thing keeping me going is that demon transformation thing they showed. It better lead to some interesting developments. Edit: Actually I think I might just drop this as well. Having the choice between continuing this and maybe going to a 7/10 or just moving onto another series that could be good. I think I'll just start the next series. |
