| Definitely AoT. Love every second of it the suspense, foreshadowing, and the climax in mere half an hour. One ep sold me on the decade long ride of the series and the OP slaps. |

| The first episode from Guilty Crown was breathtaking. The OST thats playing in the beginning is one of the most beautiful songs i ever heard. Shame that the rest of this anime was a bad rip off from Code Geass. Another great Pilot was Gakkou Gurashi the plottwist in this episode is hand down one of the best i witnessed as a anime fan. Memourable pilots that were great but not that great like Guilty Crown and Gakkou Gurashi would be: Monster, Gurren Lagaan, Bokurano, Death Note and Elfen Lied. At least this shows came into my head. |

| Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - starts off with an exciting chase scene and conspiracy intrigue that sucks you in. The colonel and the freezing alchemist know each other? They fought in a war as comrades, and now they are fighting each other? What is the Freezing Alchemist talking about? What is the Fuhrer up to? Fate/Zero: starts off with a guy meeting his newborn daughter, and then apologetically telling his wife that he is going to kill her. She says she is fine with that and will love him anyway. WTF? Then we switch over to mages and a priest introducing us to the holy grail war and explain the rules... and then immediately begin conspiring to rig the game. And then we get the hype ending where they all summon their servants. Rising of the Shield Hero: the protagonist becomes the victim of gross injustice and has the odds stacked against him right away. You want to see him overcome the huge challenges set against him and to see him vindicated. Death Note: the protagonist goes on a killing spree and the authorities notice. The protagonist watches a news broadcast where an investigator calls him out on his crimes and the protag kills him... only for it to be revealed that the protag was just conned by the REAL investigator into giving away his location. Hooks you into wanting to see the game of cat and mouse escalate. Trigun: series opens with a bunch of mercenaries rolling up to a bar and machinegunning the building into oblivion... and then in the middle of the ruins, a guy in a red coat sips his drink completely unscatched and unflustered, and then challenges all of the guys who just machinegunned the bar into smithereens. They panic. Also, said guy in red trenchcoat is a hero who gets caught up in a destructive adventure wherever he goes, to the point that insurance companies send agents to follow him around. You want to watch to find out why this guy is so awesome. |

| Some ones that I remember very well are Steins;Gate, AoT, Violet Evergarden, Fate/Zero, Mushishi, Psycho-Pass, Made in Abyss, FMAB, Bakemonogatari, Re:Zero and Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. There are others I just don't remember them that well. The ones I listed had me hooked and became some of my favorite anime ever. |
