| Well the revealations were nothing new and uh so that was it huh. Maybe if I watched this one first then I might have been shocked. |

| Ok most of this episode was really meh. Literally all of it other than the last 3 minutes were just repeated info from Madoka and its not nearly as impactful the second time. Its also just being fed to us in a presentation with the cocky girl and cocky white haired girl. The whole buildup to the thing that happend in Yachiyo's past was just like "Oh yeah, we know what its gonna be so just show us and move on." kind of thing. I hope the last episode can be somewhat interesting when Yachiyo gets there. kamil88 said: Am i only one, who find both Mifuyu and Touka to be annoying? And I agree, I dont care at all about these girls in the flashback or the side girls on the bridge doing the whole "magical girl reveal" seperately. |

As for foreigners, they did manage to get back to form(wittingly or not) with Ashley Taylor.Hiiragi can also be a given name (and Alina is a foreigner so she's allowed to break the pattern I suppose). Or do you mean that usually the name is more common as a given name? |
| Most of the information in this episode was stuff we already knew from the main series but I still felt really bad for Yachiyo and Mifuyu. It really does suck to be a magical girl... I can't blame people for wanting to join the Wings of the Magius by the end. |

| Yachiyo doesn't want to have friends anymore, hm.. Well.. As I remember, Touka in the memories was inventing one.. As well as another girl.. They both probably have high IQ.. As well as they started fire in the past.. And weren't reacting too badly about this.. It means that they can go against norms, really.. So they can be geniuses who can go their own way.. So it makes sense that Touka actually could be the leader of Magius.. Iroha says it's unbelievable.. But to me it actually makes a lot of sense.. Eh.. Mifuyu is really too calm.. Like what is that voice and face she talks that she and Yachiyo became depressed after her comrade's death?.. I don't really understand, why Mifuyu sometimes is reacting like this to many things.. And at the same time laments about Yachiyo maybe not forgiving her being in Magius.. It doesn't make much sense to me.. How she can be so cheerful and calm about talking about her depression, but show emotions in other case.. It just doesn't make much sense to me.. If it's not becoming a witch, then what is it - asks Touka.. Well.. To me it reminds bipolar disorder, really.. Cycles of depression and energy.. You're not completely depressed, not a complete witch in this case.. But well.. Let's listen for actual explanation.. Dopperu?.. As in doppelganger and stuff?.. Eh?.. But we really don't learn anything new.. Except that it's Magius who somehow created this dopperu effect for magical girls.. But how it works or anything - we learnt nothing, really.. Oh well.. Just that.. Alright, I guess?.. But.. Magius' system worked even without them knowing, right?.. It worked with Kaede and Iroha.. So what really magical girls do in that Magius?.. Magius so far maybe created that dopperu mechanism.. But it's question, if indeed they did that or not, but let's say we believe this.. But Magius also did some questionable things.. Used witches.. Also used rumours.. And in both cases, people went missing.. So I don't know about all that.. |
| Having two cocky girls explaining a serious matter may not be the best of ideas, being honest. Despite going through the same hardships as Yachiyo, Mifuyu recalled those memories with her old group as if they were nothing and Touka with her "I know everything and make no mistakes" attitude made me feel more irritated than anything else. But well, it can always be worse. Just imagine Alina being there too, vociferating edgy nonsense. Anyways, leaving aside the last few minutes with the new info about the Doppel system, this episode pretty much felt like a "summary" one since we already knew most of the topics addressed here and though knowing about Yachiyo's past was interesting, it didn't feel as shocking as I was expecting. Not to mention that seeing Iroha looking so stiff/static despite the huge revelations kinda disappointed me too. So, the Doppel transformation is some sort of system created by Touka to prevent Mahou Shoujo from becoming Witches, uh? Well... if I'm honest, joining Mifuyu and co. sounds awfully reasonable so I now wonder what's the price for such convenient deal. Also hope they explain in depth said system since there is just one episode left. P.S.: Now that I think of it, how did Sana manage to stay alive without hunting witches and maintain her Soul Gem clean despite her profound depression? |

| Very surprised that nothing out of the ordinary happened to Yachiyo's past teammates Kanae and Mel, just another batch of victims to Kyubey's deception Overall this ep is just a summary of what we already knew about Magical Girls and Witches from the main series, we are now due for the elaborates on Touka's "de-witchfication" scheme |
