| Well **** happens all the time. Thanks for this really fast temp. fix. Still I wonder, why doesn't the MAL updater have an offline mode, at least while the server is maintained? Surely you can't update the primary files on the servers and you can't use some advanced functions - like adding new series or manga (or for example editing your own comments/blog), but the updater could at least save the data for the files which are currently been watched/read. So if you increase the episode count, that's a minor detail to be updated (and could be stacked just as easily), while you can still use the listing and (auto-)playing features. |

| I have just one question. I noticed that days spent watching anime in at the bottom of each section of our list does not change as well when an episode is watched, though the other list statistics seem to update correctly. I just want to know one thing, will the days function update and correct itself well the statistics are working again? Or will it just not count the time we spent watching anime while this function is offline? |

| I'm glad I found this...was wondering what was going on. You can manually update your signature by going to the My Signature settings. I hope everything can be fixed without too many problems. |

| Is it just my client which just decided that I have only 1/3 of the anime mentioned on the site or is that a (new) sideeffect of the problem? MAL client: total 100 entries. Website: 348 entries. |

| MALAppInfo.php was restricted in an attempt to 'fix' the downtime issues. Looks like it isn't a fix though. :-/ |

| As long as the stuff eventually works, I don't care how long it takes. Don't even really need to stats honestly, but it's kinda interesting to know as I am somewhat of a stat person. |

| may i just say that i had no issues with the site loading until you did turn off stuff? <.<;; and to chinlamp: same issue for me, as long as i 'edit' them it updates but the total time watched refuses to change. so its not just you. btw, nice avatar :D dark ftw |

| Yeah it does seem to be very slow in respnses these past weeks, on many occasion I could not get on due to the site being down. A question for all, does that mean when the statistic are back on, it will automatically increase the time which should have been increased if it was not for the stats being disabled? |
Not sure what is wrong with MAL lately but yes, my MAL sig is updating again and it seems to be the same for everyone else and thus, MAL is going downtime once again.. I am getting this error for posting in threads too. |
