Make big and noisy entrance then announce your intentions! Well I've gotta admit that is so Luffy to come up with a plan of his own in what's suppose to be a secret. LOL
You see there's no need to wonder where your god is,
Coz he's right here! ...and he's fresh out of mercy.
Two things i really liked about the episode was getting an explanation of what happened to Zoro's group and also Robin looking pretty dam good :)

i love One Piece and i was always looking forward to a new episode...
it used to be... 20mins full of epicness, every single episode
but since the fishman island arc... it's gotten slow and boring..
and it's not just that... nothings happening..
there are no cool enemies, feelings, fights, stories, or any epic moments in general
and all of a sudden.. these 20mins epicness turned into 19min "meh" and 1minute "okay"
...
It's not that bad, the episodes are usually entertaining and keep you wanting to see what will happen in next week's episode. The epic fights will come eventually nearing the end of the arc like they always do.
Sanji, Brook and Zoro managed to escape from the two Yeti brothers and somehow are continuing their objective of finding the Samurai which they do but they see a huge blob (Smiley) in the direction that they are heading in to retrieve the Samurai's Torso. Seems like Luffy loves flashy entrances as normal and Law is surprised yet again by his actions. His use of teleporting from his ability is very convenient.
DAT epic music at the end! It's been so long since we've heard it.. it always sounds so epic. Good episode imo. A little slow but good :)

I agree..(not a spoiler.. just my out of topic opinion)
One piece has been epic for so many years with very few fillers and now they chose to slow down a little bit to prevent a filler arc right after the timeskip AND EVERYONE LOSES THEIR MINDS!
Naruto and Bleach are full of fillers and slow paced episodes and it's ok but one piece is having a hard period after all these years and everyone is like.. OP is shit now!
I hate the word “fate.” Birth, encounters, partings, success and failures, fortune and misfortunes in life. If our lives are already set in stone by fate, then why are we even born? There are those born to wealthy families, those born to beautiful mothers, and those born into the middle of war or poverty. If that’s all caused by fate, then God is incredibly unfair and cruel. Because, ever since that day, none of us had a future and the only certain thing was that we wouldn’t amount to anything. - Takakura Shouma

I agree with the spoiler, but not that I prefer slower episodes, I prefer filler episodes. Especially since One Piece has great filler episodes that I actually enjoyed. But I understand why it's going slow now. They haven't really put any filler arcs since Water 7 because they don't want to put them in the middle of an arc like in Bleach. And of course they don't want to spoil the mood of the New world by putting them right at the beginning before Fishman Island, and then they had the movie right after Fishman Island and the first island.
I think and hope that the reason why they are sticking with this pace and not trying to shoot ahead and use up the chapters is because they are planning a filler arc after Punk Hazard. There's no reason for them to shoot up the pace in the middle of an arc. That was one of the charms of One Piece, having small enjoyable filler arcs instead of random and boring large or small ones(looking at your Bleach and Naruto).

I agree with that. I prefer One piece fillers than slow paced episodes. One piece fillers are actually really good for one reason. They are pretty much the same as canon episodes since one piece is all about the adventure. They travel from one island to another, making friends and defeating enemies. For example the arc right after they landed from Sky Island.. I couldn't even tell it was filler...it looked canon to me. Other animes can't do this because they have a certain villain or a group of villains and things develop all around him or them.. so when they ignore them things get really boring. :/

Yes I agree, and they keep them short so there's no dragging and they don't feel like they disrupt anything. Well that's because they put some canon elements in it, like Merry getting damaged which originally happened just from falling from the sky and they used the situation well. Some anime put filler arcs in the middle of an arc, One Piece puts them in between an arc in a way that it's hard to realize it's a filler, taking advantage of the past arc(like the post Alabasta arc) and what happened for them to get there(the g-8 arc with them falling out of the sky and the ship damage), etc. I also agree with that, because they're on the grandline it allows them to do that without seeming like they're going away from the story.
Behold of my awesomeness~
controversial and/or sensitive topics likely devolve into the same repetitive, derogatory, abusive, and harassing comments can no longer be posted.
But my feels.
Poor Law you have to be patient with your new ally...
Totally forgot to mention Zoro and Sanji's haki at the previous episode.... We already knew they can used it but do they know it themselves??? I mean have they consciously practice it like Luffy did? Or there is room for improvement???
Loved how Luffy sprung into the fight with the Where's Waldo outfit on- the two couldn't be more at odds with each other.
Also, wouldn't mind if Nami kept Sanji's eyes.
Curious about the reason as to why Law can't take Caesar down himself- granted, I have been spoiled on tons of stuff about his character, but it's fun knowing that I still can't connect all the dots just yet!
Tbh, I really like Caesar- in the same way I like Doflamingo...they're just so eccentric and a ton of fun to watch.
Also thinking that Sanji and Smoker make seriously badass women- I honestly don't think I'd mind if those body switches were permanent lmao it's amazing how something as simple as a quick body swap can change your view on a character XD
Law's reactions to the Straw Hats will never get old, I swear. It's only been a few episodes since he's been in this arc and he's already jumping up in my favorite characters of One Piece.
I hope one day we also get Kidd as a major player in one of the later arcs. He's another Supernova we need more of, along with Bonney!

I think the best way to talk about this episode would be to talk about it locationally.
So around the lake we had the Sanji(Nami) group sequence. I saw some people speculating that perhaps they fought each other and knocked each other out and then the yeti brothers thought that they were the ones who took them out, but even then I found it questionable that the brothers would have let them live knocked out. What happened makes a lot of sense, we got to see the expected way the brothers trap people on cliffs and lead them with their footprints. The trio fell for the trick, got hit by drunk poison, and were shot off the cliff while falling asleep. But, Zoro being such a heavy drinker was able to stay awake for a moment and just as a Luffy fell and broke the spikes, Zoro casually fell and cut that cliff in half. He is so crazy, meanwhile the brothers look down and presume the spikes took them out which means everything make sense. Even the bumps that Nami-Sanji gave the others to wake them up.
This led them to find Foxfire again and it made for an interesting sequence. His torso must have ended up in the water, and that has made his whole body freeze which made him break down and turn to ice. He was unable to make warm clothes because he was paralyzed and if Sanji didn't come around he would have died. Of course, being a samurai he had to act as though he wasn't cold while blubbering and shivering which was quite great. I found this interesting because it gives applications to other powers that separate the body, especially somebody like Buggy. If somebody gets a single hand of Buggy’s and puts it into seawater he is as good as dead. Likewise, Law could cut an arm off of a power user and toss it into the water as well. This is simply logical but I hadn't thought about it before.
This sequence led to an awesome character moment between Sanji and Foxfire. They saved his life and they’ll go find his body so finally he was warming up to these pirates. “Why?”, “Because I’m responsible for you! But when you get your body back you have to fight me! I’ll kick your ass”! Everyday I watch One Piece Sanji slowly creeps up my scale of favourite characters. I really want to draw fanart of these two now. Sanji has said that he was moved by Foxfire’s determination before, and both are protective and determined people. He took him along when he was only a head, making a duty of sorts that no matter what happens he's got to help this guy at least get on his own feet. But as anybody who is as stubbornly childish as Sanji can be, they butt heads in a hilarious way. Foxfire’s tough facade and hatred of pirates while wanting help but never admitting it, and Sanji’s pissed off nature regarding that but responsibility and, dare I say, admiration of Foxfire’s determination.
P.S. I wonder if they will know his name when it’s revealed to them, like if he is a great samurai. Somehow Zoro probably isn’t so interested in such a bumbling mess so far, but maybe when his torso is back he will be. I still wonder if Foxfire will recognize the black blade of Zoro. Oh yeah, I should also mention that they are totally set up to fight Smiley, omg.
In the lab itself we got some more information on Smiley. I had speculated that he was created to cause the poisoning of the island, and I wasn't that far off, it was actually however the opposite. The poison that killed the island was compressed into Smiley.
And speaking of Caesar, so far I feel neutral on him. There's a part of me that feels a little bad despite how awful he is because he's been doing this plan forever and Luffy strolled in here coincidentally and will probably ruin it. But then again he's the kind of guy that would genocide a group of people with his chemical weapons and feel proud over that. So I can't feel too bad. As for his character, he's egocentric, totally insane, lacks all kinds of empathy from what we've seen, and is the kind of evil villain to explain all of his thoughts and plans in detail. That's what I've understood of him so far and I’m not particularly encouraged to think of him in any sophisticated way. But I do find his background and how connected he is to the government and Vegapunk, as well as his plan to win this arms race fascinating so I'm hopeful. Monet is also quite mysterious and so is this Joker who I feel is the government rat. I also love his dynamic with Law, both are smart guys playing around each other which brings awesome moments like the gun scene.
Because of how linked everything here was I may as well talk about Law, Smoker, and Luffy together. Firstly, Smoker’s group is winning the fight and I love seeing that Tashigi got stuck in smoke mode and couldn't figure out how to revert. That's the kind of detail I was super excited for going into these body swaps. They can't break down the front door, but Luffy could elephant gun it so we should be glad he's here.
Law and Chopper adorably tried to metal gear solid it. We had Chopper freaking out over Law’s substitute jutsu teleporting and that amazing “Shut up and stay in the bag” line. It was fun and I’m excited to see if Law and Chopper hold any of the same values as a doctor that will have them grow closer. He wants to distract Monet and Caesar while Chopper looks around from my understanding of the plan, I didn’t Chopper could move much so I may have misunderstood. That would be scary but Law has his back which makes me less scared. Still that may not matter because Law was lacking a crucial piece of information about Luffy, he cannot follow a plan! His crew has learned to work around that like in Fishman Island, but Law, he’s not so familiar with Luffy yet. It should also be noted that Law can’t be the one to nab Caesar…
So, Luffy, Franky, and Robin launched over to call the master out, notably Sanji-Nami and Usopp are elsewhere. Whenever this happens it reminds me of Alabasta when Luffy was screaming for Crocodile. Luffy has always been the kind of guy to do the most straightforward and effective strategy that he can think of in the moment, and that's definitely a charming part of his character. I especially liked how Robin elegantly flew down whereas Franky and Luffy smashed through a ship and started laughing. I bet Robin has better control over her wings now too! To top it all off, ending with Law freaking out, and Chopper adorably cheering on Luffy while amazed was so perfect.
With Luffy, Smoker, and Law about ready to storm the laboratory, and Zoro’s group facing Smiley, things got real!
The utter shock of Trafalgar Lawl at Luffy's antics is leaving me in stitches here. Whatever plan he's cooking up for dethroning an emperor, it better be Gomu Gomu no flexible.
No idea what impression Law had of Luffy, but he's learning the hard way that sneaky and quiet is not his style :P
Guessing Caesar has something in the lab that would hinder Law's power which is why he needs the assistance.
While it was good to learn how Zoro, Brook and Sanji seemed to get taken out so easily, having the repeat of the entire sequence from before was annoyingly obvious padding. A question now though is how do they get the Smaurai's torso if it is in the lake and Smiley is on it's way? Since he's complete in the OP sequence, I'm guessing they get it somehow.
Zoro, Sanji-Nami, and Brock are so funny together. I could do a whole arc of those 3. Sanji and Zoro always been the funniest one piece duo. And it makes it better as Nami and Brock.
Law now fully going it know what it’s like to work with Luffy. The good and the bad lol. He should have known after Seabody and Marineford what he was signing up for.
