| Oota said that each minute should be like 3 months on Earth. The whole mission lasted 10 minutes (maybe a bit more, according to Amano's clock), so 30 months should have passed upon Noriko's return to the space station. But as we see, only 6 months passed. Looks like a plothole (or a miscalculation) to me, but overall I liked the episode, onto the next one! |

How do I know this anime is old: Also, uncensored nudity. Something you don't see in anime very often (except for hentai, maybe). No steam, beams of light or lacking details. This relative time flow thing is interesting. |

| Initially the concept of Time Dilation as presented by the show didn't make much sense to me but reading up on it it actually makes a lot of sense. In fact, I think the show massively underplayed how much time should've actually passed. |

| Jung Freud? really and then they go around crashing the space ship that's currently under construction on day 1? genius a lot of unnecessary spacetime dilation plotholes and seriously? traditional propulsion NLS? i'd give it a pass if they didn't try to be sciencey and then fail at it. still somewhat enjoyable though. |

| This was an awesome episode, the Exhilon itself looks like the Star Destroyers in Star Wars probably an inspiration to the Exhilon maybe? Even when the coach goes on a light speed mission he wears his shades before and during said mission. Gotta respect him for that. That’s how cool he is. There was also some emotional weight in this episode as Noriko discovers the ship’s remains of her long dead father which I feel sorry for by the way. Once again really enjoying this series so far. Not much to say other than it was a great episode regardless. |
