| I liked it. I was worried about how they'd treat the Shadow Yosuke fight, but I thought it was well done. Somehow the manga and anime both had the idea to have the main character punch Yosuke. |

| I'm too biased to give this anything lower than a 5/5 for this episode. Though, the pacing is a bit off, and the animation quality is a bit messy at times, but I'm on this bandwagon and I'm not leaving it dammit! |

| I actually thought the 2nd episode of Persona 4 was much better than the first one. Or maybe it's just because I haven't seen that part of the story in game and don't know how it originally turned out. I thought some of the ideas like the shadow taunting a certain character was a nice idea but it was way to easily resolved. I may keep watching this, depends on my whim next week. |

| Yeah, there seems to be an imbalance in the animation budget in AIC. Other than that, it's just like playing a game. Pacing isn't that bad but I wouldn't know if it's really bad or not since I didn't play the game. Narukami increased in Courage huh. Will we get to see that other guy's stats as well? |

| I think...it getting more interesting. I still have a feeling that I am playing the game when the fight begin lol. But I still enjoy this anime. Can't wait to see next episode. |

I'm having the same struggle=_=...Though honestly like most of you have said, this episode followed the game more closely than Ep1. So it's a win in my book. Add in the nostalgic soundtrack+ some original added on content(new songs/scenes) and this could be a 5/5 anime for me.(Though unless they screw up REEEAAL bad it probably will be anyway>,>) Btw am I the only one that likes the english VA for Persona 4 a little bit more than the Seiyu? Don't get me wrong I love both of them..it's just some of the characters don't seem as "dynamic" in Japanese compared to English(Best example for me is Igor). They don't sound bad per say, it just doesn't feel like it brings the character out in a full way. That being said I like Kuma/Teddy/Headless stuffed bear Japanese voice alot more than his english voice.......though the "Bear" puns are just as corny in both languages(.=_=.) |

I do miss hearing some of the English VAs but with a few exceptions I'm enjoying the Japanese cast. I kind of like hearing Igor and Chie in English a lot more than in Japanese. Anyway, episode two was a major step up from episode one in terms of quality and story. Events in this episode followed the game pretty closely minus expected changes here and there. After all, with the switch from an interactive medium to a passive one there has to be a few changes . I enjoyed the fight with Yosuke's shadow and I was wondering how they would handle it. The animation was much more fluid this time around. The fight wasn't that exciting but it was still great to hear boss battle music from the game. I'm looking forward to the other fights. I wonder how they'll do Kanji's shadow... The rumors that episode two would be worse than episode one in terms of quality turned out to be just the gripes of an understandably angry animator. And why so many people are writing this series off after just seeing ONE episode in a 26-episode anime is beyond me. Anyway, I'm hoping P4: The Animation stays on track. |

| aww.. i still don't see those "black and white multiple circles" when they enter and exit on the TV... that's a bona fide Persona 4 symbol.... i guess i'll go with HorribleSubs video since they show those circles in the 1st episode... without those, it feels not persona 4... just saying... :) |

| Hmmm....well I'm not sure why the production staff were so hard on themselves for the art being 'crappy'. I didn't think that at all. However..I'm a little disappointed that they took some dialog away from Shadow!Yosuke. I loved his shadow a lot..oh well. It also seems like they are indeed rushing the episodes..I really don't want them just jumping into the TV straight away. I mean, maybe it's just me. They should spend some more time doing random things and then inspecting the TV levels more. Anyways, the episode was pretty good. I loved when I'll Face Myself started playing <333 |

This episode already explain a lot of things, Persona is practically a evolution of your own shadow, this happen when you agree that your other side is still yourself. Yosuke was denying all the time that "him" was "I", so this make the shadow go berserk, when he said: "I am you, and you are me" he recognized his own true self, then a Persona is born from it. Why Yuu didn't have to fight with his own shadows may be explained later on. I think, since it's a adaptation I can't say for sure if they will or not change the original story. |

| I don't get why people are still bitching about the pacing. There is absolutely nothing of importance that went on in the beginning of the game that they didn't include unless people are seriously wanting to watch the MC answer questions in class to increase his academics and charm stats or taking a leisurely stroll around town? S links are probably being pushed further down the line in order to deal with the characters' personas first. |

| I just kept having a fangasm through this episode. The OP was epic. The ED was epic (I just hoped they wouldn't do the whole "pictures as an ending video" >__>) Souji was so cute I just ASDFGHJJHGFG. As for the Seiyuu's, so far I kinda like Yuu's voice (I hear it's the same as his in-game one...and yes, Yuu/MC does have a voice but only in battle) and I can't help but love Chie (Horie Yui <3) and Yukiko's has been less than stellar but she voiced Anemone so can't hate her much either (plus she hasn't had much dialogue to begin with). I still have no idea how Atlus ever managed to grab Kappei for Kuma's role though. And let's not forget, Paku Romi as Naoto. IMO, the cast is pretty good if not better than the English cast. |

| I'm continuing to enjoy this!! I hope it continues to keep faithful the game through out the whole series. They even use the same comments you can choose for the MC when he talks. Makes me want to play the game again.. I really like the last battle with Yosuke's shadow. That Boss theme is just badass. So glad they use the same soundtrack. The OP is awesome, I wasn't really excited about the ED though.. It'll grow on me. ^_^ With the news that came out, I hope they don't cancel Persona.. or for it to lose any of its quality :_( |

Good thing we won't ever see him again ;) Also, using the TV's in the battle arena to show stuff that couldn't fit in the anime and help taunt Yosuke feelings at the same time was very crafty from the animators. Yes the music sounds out of place. But in the game, you could hardly hear the voices over the music/effects during animated cut scenes, so for all you holding the game as the perfect standard, shouldn't you be praising the anime for keeping that equal as well? Someone said before to stop comparing to the game and enjoy it for the animation itself. I say look for the things that are even more awesome than they were in the game ^^ |

| Much better than the first one, I agree too. But I wish they'd kept the original OP. Also, why am I so unexpectedly disappointed with my favourite character and his VA? Yosuke was never so annoying! I can say this though: it definitely sucks for people who haven't played the awesomeness. |

I don't know what you're talking about, there's no adaptation of Persona 4 for PSP (not for now), if you've played P3P (Persona 3 adaptation) then it's another matter, they're both different stories even though being from the same sequel. |
