| As for Japanese food specifically, I could mention that I like eel on rice, but I don't think I've ever seen that in anime. Also, Japanese food ain't cheesy enough anyway, and sushi is overrated. So I'll go with some better answers: * fried lizard (IIRC this was eaten in Heavy Object and Chain Chronicle) * soybean sprouts, as pan-fried/sautéed and prepared with sauces by Yayoi Takatsuki * whatever they ate on Sky Girls episode 17 when they were stranded on the island. nuts, mushroooms, fruits, fish, various wild greens, and one item was literally just raw sugarcane lol |

| Anything that looks good really but if I had to narrow it down it would be mochi (since tamako market brainwashed me into thinking it's the best thing ever), takoyaki, omurice, ramen, dango (since it's my username lol). These are some among many others that I'm forgetting. |
