Well it is (or was atleast) 99% that it was rias and issei. Asia is just interfering with every single thing rias and issei do to the point where its annoying for me to watch. None of the other girls in his harem does

Asia liked Ise far before anyone did and moved in with him far before Rias and the others. Of course she doesn't want them to get too close to him before she does.

And if you think Rias lets the others do whatever they want you're watching a completely different series. She stopped Akeno at least 2 or 3 times in NEW, Xenovia once in NEW too, and Akeno again in BorN's first episode. She's not fine with the other girls doing whatever they want at all. She only let Akeno go in a date with Ise because she wanted to tell him about her past.

I didn't say this is only reason why DxD is perfect.
And no I am not 15 years old and I even read the light novel so no I don't watch it for oppai, but I like that part too.
That wall you are talking about is important for plot, but I don't think it is big wall, Rias is winning anyway and they share Issei. She copies everyone because she was nun she don't know "the love game", but isn't it cute instead of annoying that she tries so hard?

Well then first to you AverageFanboy guy, as i mentioned before, Akeno was the only girl Rias kinda stopped when it came to the Issei romance (cant really remember that Xenovia time, maybe because it was ONE time). Too me Asia just feels like a supporting character (even though she's not) trying really hard to become the main. And Asia doesnt even try to get close to Issei except when others do. Sure Asia moved in with issei before anyone, but even if she did Rias and Issei had a much closer relationship, and Issei just has a strong sense of protection for Asia, there is no mutual love what so ever. I think Asia is the one furthest away from Issei in terms of romance, but because she is ignorant and stupid she doesnt understand this.

And then to you Thyriad-oPPailov, im sure ur not 15 years old (just made my point come out better), and you are probably right about some stuff, but I cant find it in my heart to like Asia. I dont like weak, fragile women who is most of the time just in the way, but maybe you do and that I respect. This is just one opinion against another. There was no relationship whatsoever between Ise and Rias until the end of Season 1. She just thought of him as a younger guy who's overly honest until then. Nothing more.

Ise loves Asia more than he does Akeno or Koneko at this point, but because of how he feels responsible for her death and stuff, he feels guilty about it. So yeah, he does love her.

Asia knows absolutely nothing about how to get close to someone aside from what Kiryu tells her, and like others said, she was a nun and a Holy Maiden before. None of the other girls were sheltered away from the concept of relationship except for Xenovia and she doesn't know the true meaning behind her actions.

And her "being only in the way" would mean that she brings absolutely nothing to Ise's life. She does. She's so important to him that he'd very likely lose the will to live if she died for real. He'd rather continue like a virgin forever than not having her by his side while being able to have sex with every hot chick in the world.

Plus, her healing ability is something not only rare, but she's better than most (if not the best period) with it specifically because of her good nature. This nonsense of "healers are useless" is too pathetic to be an argument.

Up until now there hasn't been anything with Koneko to "stop". There will be later on, but right now the biggest rivalry is indeed Rias and Akeno. Although I have to disagree about Rias loving him the most; at this point it's more the opposite, with Issei loving her the most.

You'll come to love Issei next season. About Asia & Rias, you don't have to love her, but you need to realize that this is a harem. A real harem, not "Rias wins". He gets into relationships with all of the girls, including Asia, and you'll need to accept that.

...If you can't, well, after the first half of S4 you'll get very, very little Asia x Issei for quite a while.

First, I hate character that can only express his/her emotion through tears, it's really tiresome to watch that kind of character for me.
Two, Her role as a younger sister for Issei and yet he keep get in the way of Issei lecherous act with other.

And later in the story I even started to hate Rias before she start proper relationship with Issei.

Technically it was originally a LN (light novel) not manga.

We all can't like the same thing. So whether someone likes or dislikes her, I accept their choice either way. As for my opinion on Asia, I'm okay with her (don't dislike her) and the main group of girls because of how far I read and watch Highschool Dxd. Technically I don't dislike any girls as long as there is good development with each (with it being a harem series).

If this was more of a ONE girl choosing series (like Nisekoi, Love Hina, School Rumble), that's when I would have a girl to dislike (although there can be exceptions depending how story plays).

I would say i hate her because the only reason she exist is to act as a plot devise to give "person x" a reason/power up/berserk etc. to defeat the current enemy. The others rarely got so much emotion out of it but with her... it's like they are forcing the cast to cry or something. It doesn't help that she can't do anything or overcome a certain situation on her own... She just doesn't have a backbone, she always let the others do the talking while she just remains quiet. It would have been fine if she atleast had the guts to show some resistence or let the "character devellopment" do its job and just told that diodora guy right in the face about her situation with Issei. But mhe offcourse that's asking to much...

Maybe you got me wrong. It is not like I love Asia, but I defend her because there are no characters in DxD that should be hated and people in this topic just hate her without much reason. That said, Asia never made me angry like some other characters from other anime/manga.
I for example often hate loli characters, but I don't hate Koneko because she is also made very good in DxD.

There is strange number of members with less than 50 posts on MAL that attack Asia/so called LN purist and make the fight go on... it is strange sometimes I even see people with 1-5 posts... is this some campaign with multiaccounts?

Maybe you got me wrong. It is not like I love Asia, but I defend her because there are no characters in DxD that should be hated and people in this topic just hate her without much reason. That said, Asia never made me angry like some other characters from other anime/manga.

There is strange number of members with less than 50 posts on MAL that attack Asia/so called LN purist and make the fight go on... it is strange sometimes I even see people with 1-5 posts... is this some campaign with multiaccounts?

Haha, multiaccounts?, I dont think so. Some people just dont like standing out in public or writing stuff all over the MAL, like me, some just want a place where they can keep track over how much anime they have watched unlike you who post more on MAL than you watch anime/read manga.

It just happens that when I have really strong opinions about something I cant help but discuss it (especially when its something thats annoying me) . This DxD Asia thing is an example of that.

Btw you dont seem to have a very wide knowledge about anime so theres no wonder one of the only animes you have watched is your most liked one, and I think its easier to like something in an manga because you dont have to listen to bad music or bad voice acting etc.

I watched many anime/manga before I joined this website, I added few old one as 'dropped' as I don't remember how many episodes I watched and what exact title it was, for example I watched many Dragoon Ball but didn't add them all. I joined this website not so long ago and after I watched DxD.

Oh you misunderstood, when I was talking about manga being easier likeable than anime, I wasnt particularly talking about DxD, but more overall. Read again please ;)

She's a different type of character. She's the pure and innocent devil that still prays to God even though she's technically an enemy. The only issue I see is the excessive neediness towards issei. Beyond that I like her as a character.
Btw she's probably gonna be around for a while seeing how she was one of the first people issei really bonded with and when he leaves Rias' house to make his own she will probably go with him. So get used to her.

Ignoring the fact that harem anime in general usually have the girls getting in each others way in order to gain a lead on the other girls, I can't recall any instances where Asia has done this. At least not intentionally.

I can understand not liking Asia's character for whatever reason, but lets not pretend that she doesn't play a very important role in this show. Whether it be as a mere plot device or a fully fleshed out character, no one can deny that she serves an important role in not only the story, but also contributes greatly to the protagonist development as well. To say that she's "useless", of all things, is ridiculous.

Matsuoka Yoshitsugu has hardly any range as a voice actor, and is grossly over-cast.
