Awesome ending to an awesome anime. Also, anyone know the name of the song they play before the usual ending?

That was "Continued Story" by Hitomi. I really enjoy that song and have its Youtube video placed on my profile if you like to listen to it. :D

Thanks alot for the quick answer. <3

Your welcome. Glad I can help out. :D

What a tragic ending!! I am so sad! I loved Lelouch so much! I wish Suzaku really did die but hey there had to be an ending and I have to admit this was a good one, even though Lelouch died.

I found it incredibly sad when Nunnaly touched Lelouch's hand and she finally realized what really was going on, i seriously shed a tear! Lelouch was a great guy that just wanted peace for everyone so he sacrificed himself for everyone's happiness! I LOVE HIM! ♥

LELOUCH WHY???!!!! I loved this series to death and I am definitely going to be purchasing it! THANK YOU CLAMP!!! XD

Since lelouch most likely is alive, and if they do make a ton of money, it wouldn't be surprising if Sunrise made a 3rd season based on something else where lelouch comes back and surprises the crap outta everyone.

SPICE & WOLF END

The ending wasn't nearly as open or dramatic as Spice and Wolf. Honestly, it didn't need to be either. Both shows are very different and had appropriately fitting endings. That being said, Spice and Wolf had much less less closure. That ending even left open the possibility for a 3rd season.

and then /a/ was ablaze, saying that they've retrieved a footage leaked by Sunrise one hour after broadcast.

Maybe DVD release will actually show it.

And oh,

That is what I'm talking about.

I went frame by frame on the episode and noticed that they PURPOSELY showed in the last scene only the CORNER of the driver's face in a fraction of a second (I replayed the last scene more than 10 times). And the speculation is...why did they even bother to show that? Right now, there is more than 50% chance that Lelouch is NOT DEAD.

On top of that, C.C. looks happy and said something that Geass will bring solitude and then ADDED that she is NOT QUITE ACCURATE on that. This strongly implies that Lelouch may be the one driving the car.

Very Geass like ending. EVERY single episode in this season ended with a cliffhanger and this one i no exception.

LoL, when Zero(Suzaku showed up) i expected an ironic event. Where the series starts all over whith a new Zero trying to free the world from Lelouch's hands. Lelouch would be like the new Charles.

I'm not forgiving many plain wrong stuff at the other episodes, that's why I won't rate it 10.

I thought it was a great ending.
Even though this 2nd season was a plotline's nightmare; it was still incredibly entertaining in its own respect, the unexpected and sometimes ridiculous twists & turns had me at the edge of my seat.
It was a fun ride, R2 gets a 9/10 from me.

i was very sure that lulu died, but now after read a lot of comments i really like the idea of lulu alive with CC (even if all the serie a was a Kallen x Lulu fan)

i think that they give that ending for u to think whatever u like (lulu death or alive)

no need of a sequel

At the marching of lelouch as an emperor i was thinking ,what was that all about so the hero becomes the main vilain and we will have another season to end this and other bad stuff .So sudenly BAM that was it ,they turn the table upside down for me it was a very good ending to a so and so season and thats what counts a very good ending to give a 9/10

The last episode made up for everything that has happened in Code Geass R2

There is a lot of symbolism in Code Geass.

Just wondering when "Zero" Suzaku appeared did everybody in the blackrebellion;the execution line knew that this was Lelouch's true Zeros' Requiem that he was going to sacrifice himself, "the enemy of the world" to create a new world? or did they know(who specifically) before that?

I don't think those in the execution line knew anything about it all. Eventually, people like Li_Xingke and Kaguya Sumeragi will surely have figured that part out.
Orange for sure...he knew.
As for Duke Pudding and the others, I think they knew.

You know what, you're right. I think Kallen knows too because while fighting with Suzaku he said to her that "Lelouch and I have something that we must do". She didn't know then what he was talking about, but when Zero showed up, I think that's when it all came to her.

Not sure about Todou, i have to watch again to see.

well to sum up all my theroies as of right now it goes like these facts

1.the whole suzaku "death" really suzaku still under live geass power
2.zero appear (flashback show lelouch give zero mask to suzaku to make him zero-suzaku) really those TIME SKIP are hiding something
3.orange really look at him so obvious he knew about this especially stop the shooting & let zer-zaku jump on his shoulder because he is SO on the act
4.kallen (see another zero/suzaku) & nuna (touch lelouch hand) finally late bloomers realize what lelouch's "re:" doing & plans
5.where was c2 she was in a place praying
6.c2 on wagon sayin something then said lelouch unless wagon driver is "you are not alone" besides lelouch, kallen, & nuna's seiyu were also in another anime this year involve a wagon aka http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...t_and_Holo.jpg

of course i will personaly check r2-25 dub in 09 to maybe even more answer will be shown.

besides maybe those 3 of sunrise goro ichiro might plan a r3/ova/movie or even a special edtion with new scenes to "re:"veal the "re:"al truth.

or else those 3 get the Hideaki Anno's "treatment" during the mid 90s & then wait for 12yrs for Rebuild of geass

Thanks for pointing that out. Notice how Lelouch formed a cruxification pose as he slides down the slope. Now you've confirmed my doubt up to more than 90% than Lelouch is not dead.

I think you are both right.
Kallen figured it out too. I can just imagine that as soon as she saw Zero, she remembered those words uttered by Suzaku and she just knew.
Todou figured it out as well.
When you look at it, everyone who really followed Zero even knowing that there was a part of him that they saw as dark, knew what he had done. Kallen, Todo, Orange, Kaguya, and Xingke are such people.

As for those from the Science department and Sayoko knew. I think they knew as well. Its hard to tell if they knew exactly from the moment Lulu had them leave the ship, or after..but they know.

As for if he is still alive. he most certainly is.
CC gave up her code to him. She wasn't praying in that church for nothing.
Also, she pretty much made it clear when she told kallen that her reason for fighting was because of a Promise.
The thing is...is CC still an immortal? Unless there is a way to make someone a mortal without losing her own, then I think she's probably human now.

The one person who I wish could have known the truth is Ohgi. But as great a guy he is, he never really could understand the true Zero.

BUT don't forget how the WHOLE world remembered Lelouch as the evil ruler.

That's retribution for him. Suzaku is now forced to wear this mask and live as Zero. That's retribution for him too.

Actually, most of the Black Knights members that were close to Zero clearly knew what happened. They could have guessed it. Kallen clearly knew. Toudou knew. Cornelia probably knew. Anyone intelligent would have guessed it.... I suspect that Ohgi may even realize it (especially with the appearance of the new Zero...)
