| Good so far. The animation was alright, I really hope it gets the hero treatment some of the more mainstream seasonal anime have gotten recently with the fights and humor. Excited! |

| This one wasn’t even on my radar but after numerous recommendations I checked it out and was impressed. The premise of the anime is pretty interesting ( reminds me of a comic book series I just read ‘Bad Ass Barista’) though nothing groundbreaking. What the creators have done with it however, is a different story. It has comedy and action, which is over the top , plus a lot of charm. Definitely going to check out the next episode since it’s already out and probably be sad until the next one releases. |

| The retired shirt made me laugh Shin can read minds? Sakamoto is a fucking badass beast!!!! I loved watching his moves and actually disappearing. Such a fun guy, but of few words. What was going on with Sakomoto's store and the transformation? Actually crazy! Shin gets to start a new chapter in his life and will get OT! The little boy is annoying fr Gd, everyone in the forum is miserable |

| it was good, i expect it to get better though with the amount of positive feedback the story has. i might rewatch the first episode and just binge the rest, kind of lost interest halfway through. |
| Sakamoto makes John Wick look like complete amateur hour, despite lacking bulletproof shirts and costumes. Is such an assumed 'deconstruction of the hitman/mafia genre'(?) funny or is it ridiculous? After ep 1 the jury is still out, but when funny becomes too implausible it usually turns ridiculous rather than hilarious. At least the show is well crafted. |

| Okok, the setting for this anime is for sure something. A retired hitman, that was part of a gang, that he left, to marry and settle down. Even if he gained some weight, he still has the same aure, and can easily take down that bunch of criminals. It seems like, from the start of the episode, he was trying to make Shin appreciate the life he was having now, and wanted to share that with him, his former partner. I was not expecting this from the anime honestly, I knew it was going to be more from the comedic side, but this little touch in the story really is what makes things so much more interesting. After that, you can see that Shin appreciated Mr. Sakamoto even more, and was ashamed of what he tried to do. Putting himself into danger, Shin is saved by Mr. Sakamoto himself, and ends up working for him, this way being able to live more of a normal life. It's kinda random that Shin is a psychic, but atleast they have already estabilished that. I felt like the overall pacing and direction of the anime though were not really good. Thinking back to the episode, the story is there, but I don't think the scenes are passing the energy they have. The pacing also felt weird. And the artstyle is kind of weird too, the lines seem so rough, it's honestly a bit distracting. I suppose I will grow out of it, but the lines here really are hard to digest. Besides the more "technical" sides of the anime, that were kind of poor, the story and characters seem interesting, and in that regard I think the anime has potential! Also, the opening by Vaundy is good (the beginning sounds really similar to the beginning of the ending he did for Chainsaw Man, which is interesting), but I didn't really enjoy the ending. I expect the anime not to dwelve much into the story of the characters, but what we got from this 1st episode was good. I just really feel like the pacing and the direction of the scenes took away a lot of the possible enjoyment from the material. |
| Ayo Sugita as Sakomoto and Nao as her wife really gives me an instant W. But looks like this isn't just your typical gangster retirement daily life, like Tsudaken short show. Because there's an esper? Not to mention our fat-ass legendary hitman also kinda have superhuman ability with all those dang move. Kinda a bummer honestly. But well whatever, i think its give a strength rather than a weakness with all the over-the-top power levelling. Hopefully this keeps entertaining aside of the huge va's list. Let's see more of this! |

| Really cute and funny! I'm a sucker for "Assassins quitting for a happy life" and a bit of found family. I'll have to see how it goes though, Sakamoto being overpowered might get a lil stale. |

| It reminds me of Spy Family vibes and that's good. I think anime like this work better for rehabilitating criminals than prisons, but criminals don't watch that. |

| Bought into the hype, everything was right (minus the op/ed). Greatly executed first show. Nothing much to say other than I enjoyed it in every detail, especially the segment where the show's ambient music sounded like it was part of Zenless Zone Zero unironically lol. On to the next episode! |

| I don't know a single thing about this show, but one thing I know for sure is that it was very hyped upon its release—just like Dandadan in the previous season. So yeah, my expectations for this anime are very high. Hmm... someone who was once feared by every gangster, has now become a fat man. Although his body is now far from being fit, his physical abilities aren't much different from when he was in prime condition. Interesting, huh? |
