| Nice starting!!! Good to see they are advancing the training. Big three is the best to teach them some experiences. The class was more organized here. Everyone was amazing except Deku. Deku hardly did something. Happy to see Minoru saving people like a hero. I thought Katsuki and team will miss this fight too but not. That was a cool entrance. Those three are amazing together. And Katsuki did really an blasting entry. Though his devilish face expression almost gave a heart attack to Amajiki XD!!! Deku is not cool. He should think more rationally and should not get under pressure. Unfortunately looks like Hawk is in wrong side. Hope it is just a secret plan of his to fight against the league. |

| Mediocre start with a recap. Just glad it's out of the way so we can move on. Like I said at the end of last season, this needs to refocus back on Deku. No more Todoroki garbage, angry douche bag Bakugo, or annoying no flaw having Mirio. Going back to Deku's struggle and his journey of mastering One For All is what made this show compelling. It got too loose with the narrative and focus last season. |
| OP is nice. Not Peace Sign level, but nice. It seems that this was a nice battle albeit mock. Can't remember if it was a filler though. Foreshadowing for manga readers... you guys know what I'm talking about. |

| I genuinely dont know why everyone disliked it so much, it was fun and it was typical for bnha, i didnt mind all the explanations of the quirks i mean its been a while since s4, i'm not saying it was the best ep ever i just think it doesnt deserve the hate it gets |

Tho... while this series' forum is a lot more active than most other current/ newly airing series... most threads and comments are on the negative side... wtf happened? watching episode 1, I don't really see anything wrong with it, even tho it's mostly recap and re-intro. it's like this forum is literally 75% trolling and 25% actual discussion... |

| The animation is unbelievably poor. I'm pretty sure they have the budget to at least have some decent, consistent animation. Other than that it this episode was pretty much half recap which they tried to spice up but failed at. The only positives were the OP & ED. They did a great job on that imo, especially that ED. I still hate that quirk explanation thing. It gets annoying after you've seen the exact same thing for 3 whole seasons. |

| I kinda lose interest a little bit, I get tired of them introducing hero and quirk everytime, it's already season 5 ffs, no need to introduce a character that's been there from the start. getting sick of that, they're just buying time. |

I mean they just had a drill but hey it's not that bad of a start....And again watching this episode, it once again gave me that MHA vibe.... Looking forward to the next episode^^ |
| Going from Heroes Rising to Season 5 is probably the most drastic change in animation quality we've seen yet from My Hero. But again, while it's nice to have, I'm not here for the animation; I'm here for the characters, baby. Sure the reception for this season is significantly lower than that of previous seasons. But one shot of drowning Togato and all my doubts went straight out the window. I'm going to have just as good a time as ever with this series. I hope. |

| I knew Hawks was suspicious. Particularly that Nomu entry was almost too perfect. But I freaking love him already. Nakamura adds an extra layer of charm for sure, but he's so fun. If I am to judge last seasons ED, he probably had some f-ed up childhood. More of Dabi? Yes please! I really missed him in the previous season. |

| So an introduction episode first to the whole class, I appreciate it. Been a while since the last season and with so many characters I tend to forget a name or a quirk of someone. Also had to look up Hado's quirk since they did not mention hers haha Another season where Bakugo will be the most annoying character though. |

| This episode is to refresh the information so for its purpose wasn’t bad, but as a premiere I felt is not happening anything, just by the end in the after credits. In the other hand there’s Mirio, quite funny ngl, that’s what saved this episode for me. |
