| i generally watch anime as they are airing, so i tend to with the shows i pick up at the beginning of the season even if they are sub-par, unless something really pisses me off. when i do pick up something that isn't airing, it's usually because someone recommended it, so i try not to drop it. |

| Depends on how much potential I think it has or how bored I am. If I didn't like a show's first episode but I think it has potential I'll stick around. If not, easy drop. In case I drop something that improves on itself gradually, I'll check back on its response from in the episode discussions at the end of the season. |

| If we're talking about dropping anime, I use the 3 episode rule. Sometimes I drop in the middle or past the middle but I have to watch at least 3. But if we're talking about judging an anime then it's after seeing the ending of course. I rate my watched series just to remind me if I liked the previous episodes though. |
