| What an amazing special episode. The directing, the animation was fluid and wonderful. The girl's story as a fan of Nami, as we are fans of at least a One Piece character. Law my boy. The brothers' story was beautiful and iconic, what a place to be when you are an ant in a that kind of war. The perspectives, oh God. I enjoyed it so much. I hope that girl meets Nami one day, as we all achieve our dreams too. |

| This is the best addition to One Piece we never knew we needed. Honestly, this is the greatest spinoff/special I’ve ever seen, not just of OP. Peak writing, incredible direction, beautiful animation, and left me with chills in every scene. Fan Letter really showcases the beauty and depth of One Piece, and how we’ve all been changed and inspired by the straw hats on their journey. The OST and sound design was also on point. The voice talents did such an incredible job of bringing this special to life and painting it with color and emotion. OP Fan Letter showcases exactly what potential animation as a medium has, and how far the boundaries of creation can be pushed. I’m just astonished, hats off to everyone involved in making this masterpiece. 10/10 |

| Paused at 13:10 so could have my breakdown (emotional regardless (though show/scenes and me) and PTSD triggers from [multiple] personal life events). Episode started being just more of happiness tears since this was so nice with Straw Hats being around the characters with him inspired by by Luffy, her loving Nami, with others being around like Usopp, Soul King, Perona, et cetera. But it giving one-for-one parallels with these two, and Luffy yelling empowering him and... fuck man 10/10 !!! For the most part, I had lots of tears... OF HAPPINESS. Sad parts were before I paused and brief moment later. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is at all a fan of One Piece. While the fan letter was destroyed en-route and never delivered, the fan(s) got to see them set off and saved them. This was an amazing episode that conflicts with literally nothing and shows others perspectives that are not part of series, but exist in the world. The animation was great, the pacing was great, the story was great, the characters (other than one marine) was great. I am NOT looking forward to now seeing a remake of sabaody again after seeing this as feels very redundant, but AM looking forward to the fishman island remake. This should also take at least 3 months (original took 6 months) meaning when we get to the insanity that is egghead, there should be ZERO stretching, and maybe even after. Edit, I can't read/math. will be 21 episodes. |

| Megumi Ishitani is the GOAT, and the team never fails! 10/10. I was so overwhelmed with emotions that I cried 3 times, at the start, during the Marine Brothers sequence, and at the end with the Nami girl fan. Also, seeing the power scaling rambling, the Straw Hats, and just the chaotic nature of it all was beautiful. Absolute cinema. |

| This episode was everything that makes one piece special. Man, it's rare that something can make me feel so happy, and hopeful, while at the same time managing go bring tears to my eyes. |
| It was sooo good I wasn’t expecting that 😭😭 I love the message and subverting the idea that it’s not always about the main character. I think also going along Oda’s political stances that it takes more than just one person/solidarity of ordinary people to create the change against government suppression. Currently crying I’m glad I watched this before the end of the year!! |

| Wonderful fan letter spans several different POVs from all walks of life, all idolizing a particular member of the StrawHat Pirates. This is the One Piece world seen from the perspective of the normal people as you'd consider them to be. This is worthy to be a full-length film! I like how they kept the ending realistic, although the girl did come across Usopp, she never actually got to see Nami, her idol close-up, much less deliver her fan letter to Nami, but she did see them as they're sailing, along with the Brook fan, and the Luffy fan and the Chopper fan. Different people of different ages and different careers yet sharing the same passionate love for their particular straw hat. | Fan Letter being a Love Letter to One Piece. Loved seeing the perspective of the Marines in conjunction with the Straw Hat Pirates. The art and animation despite being different were top notch, so much style added to it. |

I teared up at the end "In this world where power is everything, even if I get hurt and trampled on, I still want to struggle, run and live as freely as I can.
