Lol I’ve gotten so used to mediocre shows with the typical nice guy protagonist that the twist totally blindsided me. Randomly watching an airing show somehow turned out well! Decoy protagonist was done brilliantly. Kinda doubt that the guy’s dead tho, which is disappointing because he’s literally the cookie cutter typical protagonist. Onodera seems interesting and I’ll continue watching for him and Nana.

My sweet Nana became a sadist for some reason.
A main character just died from the first episode.

Seriously, what's going on with this story? XD
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Did the main guy from ep 1 actually die?
If its a spoiler don't awnser but it's been bugging me for a week now and I can't decide if he's gonna reappear later or if he's actually dead and the cover and op are the way they are just to throw you off

Check the ep 2 and you will have your answer and understand the flow of the history. The main character isn't who you think it is.

I skimmed through the synopsis and only took in the end about 'no powers and uses intelligence' and thought Mr neutralise was the imposter. What a twist

This one's plot twist would've worked so well if the title of the anime wasn't Talentless Nana. Really? How was anyone surprised after seeing how the episode ended? Then again, it feels like they'll have plenty more twists and turns so I'll forgive the people who spoiled it basically, if the next episodes are overall as good as this was. The animation is decent at least.

Just wondered why she got rid of that first guy instead of using him against others that she will have to kill anyway. Since he could neutralise their powers. Overall great ep

I wasn't quite impressed by the PV but still would like to give it a shot just because Nakamura Yuuichi plays a main role here. So I was amazed that this show is surprisingly intriguing.

This is mha all over again and then boom the plot twist in the end made me interested.

The scene when nanao gained whole class trust after nanao neutralized the fireball seems rushed to me but probably it's time management so it's okay.

The thing that made me very curious is that nakajima nanao actually appears only once in the opening. Only once. Even in the end scene of the opening (when onodera, nana, etc appears) there is no nanao. Which maybe it's a change of role for future episodes(?)

So far liked this ep 4/5

I guess I'm stupid for not expecting that twist. There are anime girls actually as bubbly and nice as she was acting so I was expecting that all the way through. Plus I didn't look at any info on this show beforehand, I just knew it had to do with superpowers.

Deception is my jam so I'm into this.

Ok yeah as expected Nana is best girl lol. I loved that evil expression she made with her eyes glowing.

That plotwist that she didnt have the power to read minds was good. Cause I was so confused like "Wait isnt this show called 'talentless' Nana?" but it was just her amazing intellect. I love it.

Cant wait to see Nana kill off more of the class. Im guessing that edgy dude will be one of the heroes. (Ive already been spoiled on some things in the future with a certain character but luckily I dont give a shit about them lol. All I care about in this series is Nana)

oh thought it's Hero Academia but surprise turn into some X-Men plot, maybe the classic island horror with classic pink yandere.
large parts of it kinda boring, but the relationship "Nana's detective work" was interesting.

Holy shit what a twist. I kind of interpreted the twist to mean that Nana is actually a "good guy" and that the students who we see in the class are the REAL "Enemies of Humanity". She even says so when she fucking betrays the MC near the end like that.

Here I am, picking this show up after seeing some girl on tiktok recommend it, thinking "oh boy a happy go lucky shounen super hero school anime to fill the void of MHA until I get another season!" But nope, they done School Live'd me again! They've Madoka Magica'd me in one episode and I didn't even see it coming!

I picked this show up because it frankly gave me Assassination Classroom vibes, and I've always wanted another show similar to that. But this is so different than any anime I've just mentioned above. They've got me hooked now, I wonder how this will pan out. So glad I wasn't spoiled about the "twist" at all, otherwise I feel like it would've totally ruined it for me and I wouldn't be nearly as invested in it as I am now.

I feel like this is gonna get really dark in future episodes now that the "twist" has been revealed.

At start of the season I read synopses of this series and concluded that this series is trash which I don't need to watch. It got boring cover, boring MC and everything seemed like trash. Later on someone said that this is best shows in season with Majo no Tabitabi. I was really curious why someone would say something like that.

So, I started to watch first episode. It was soo boring. Generic shonen male protagonist in generic settings and then there was this generic pink haired potential love interest for that generic protagonist. I was bored in halfway of episode. I was so close to dropping it that point. But the ending was something totally different. Whole episode flipped like Gakkougurashi! I was hooked in instant. I watched rest of episodes after that.

This is sooo good! This is going to be instant classic like Higurashi. It is so rare to see anime through the eyes of the killer.

That ending was predictable. Also, isn't the pink haired girl the actual protagonistof the anime, I hope that means the boy wouldn't be saved by some plot armor. Production side of things looked fine, nothing special. This definitely has potential, don't know where it will go.

“Wait, he’s not the protagonist, he’s fucking dead!”

Okay, cute twist. As soon as Nanao actually had a power I was suspicious of the title and Nana’s mind-reading had also felt concerningly fakeable but I still wasn’t ready for that.

So I take it this’ll just be Nana kills everyone: the show. Not sure how much meat that actually has to it, but sure, interesting idea and the bootleg MHA fake-out was fun.

That was a bit unexpected, and seeing how much of a genius Nana is satisfying like when she explained everything there.

So far it's a pretty interesting start for a mystery.

As other people have pointed out, the plot twist was too obvious. The title of the show is "Talentless Nana." If she had been brazenly lying about her talent the entire time, there was a very good chance that she would betray him.

But it is still a great twist to have. I love it when the author is trying to be a troll.

Edit: After reading the manga, there are some things about the opening episode that I see in a new light. I can't explain without spoilers though.
