So this means that we will get a prologue following Yomi's downfall and eventually leading towards the introduction of Kagura and the manga's protagonist. I personally don't mind them showing how Yomi kicked ass prior to the events of Ga-Rei. The girl in the seifuku might be Yomi... Episode wise, kick ass! |

| That was the most amazing first episode ive seen for an anime in a long time o_O....so this isn't based on the manga? Or is this just an intro to the world of the manga? Either way it was completely AWESOME with the motorcycle battles and the amazing end....I want more! The music was amazing as well. |

| One more chance and I'm leaving this anime... As I keep watching this, I keep thinking that Shaft would have done an awesome job :S They should at start getting on with the main storyline by epi 2... right? |
| what a weird firs episode... about 85% of the ep i thought: "too much action. no character development. nice animation. good voices. it'd be sad if the characters stay that flat for the whole series just for the sake of action scenes even though they had so much potential. but maybe they just want to grab the attention of the people and the storyline will start with the next ep. kind of like a teaser" well and the ending surprised me big time... all the characters that i so hoped to get more background information on - they all died... and now i read that these were all characters that don't exist in the manga... cant get my thoughts about that together but i'll definitely watch episode 2. let's hope there's a little more character development before they slaughter the next set of main characters (lol) |

| Hmm.. This anime should not end quit, it might be some others anime that start with an intro and begin the story on the 2nd episode, when that guy meet that girl. I dunno how is it on the manga thought. |

| When I started this, I was comparing this to Chrono Crusade. In the end, I was seeing similiarities with Ghost in the Shell. But, couldn't care less. Natsuki was showing copious amounts of badass from start to finish, especially the scene where she dealt a roundhouse kick to the Category Cs with her fucking motorcycle. Hell, I want tyre threads like hers too while I'm at it. I can't wait for the second episode, and maybe a proper OP and ED next time. |

| Good start in a serie I would say. Probably some scene of (from the viewpoint of the speculated second ep) the past that we saw now, but honestly I have no idea. Except for the censoreship this looks great and I'll look forward to more. |

| finished watching it,don't want to upset people since everyone here liked it,but i found it very dissapointing,especially with all the great comments it has received,lots of unintentional humor,the dialogs were pretty cheesy for a series(or at least this episode) that tries to be serious,it's a dissapointment for me but at least not as much as with real drive u_u |

| ditto with the WTF but man i have to admit, that was one of the most intense first eps i have seen in a while. actually did anyone notice that a lot of action/supernatural/gore anime are in this fall's lineup? much like how there were lots of harem/school/comedies a couple of seasons back :P anyways, good show. gotta watch the 2nd ep but i hope that first ep wont be the last ep. (you know telling the story backwards or something). that would be a pain in the ass |

| That was a a crazy awesome first episode... -The music was sick -The animation in the beginning was choppy but it got MUCH better later on -I've wanted a motorcycle since my sophomore year in high school and I am now seriously envious of Natsuki. -Mami with the "See you in heaven" made me go "oh shit! crazy!" -The jumpsuit def. aren't my taste... Ghostbusters anyone? Swap them in for black leather and I'm sold. The censoring ruined an otherwise 5/5 first ep. P.s. WTF! they all died!!!??? I'm still tripping out! wasn't even planning on watching Ga-Rei *sigh* alas my list continues to grow |

| Oh my holy crap wtf was that. Wow, I just don't know what to say right now. Well this was, to say the least, interesting, this series surely has my attention now, I can't believe what they just did in that first single episode. I haven no idea what's happening, haven't read the manga and don't know anything about the story of Ga-Rei but darnit I really want to see the next episode. 4/5 because i didn't understand all the events besides that they were wack, crazy but incredible. |

| I was ready to give up on this before the ending, which has me intrigued for the second episode. However, I was not into anything before that at all, save for Natsuki's ass kicking motorcycle moves, which everyone else also seems to love, haha. The monsters struck me more as goofy-looking than scary or threatening, so I could not take the story seriously at all. Hopefully the next ep improves on this. |

| I just thought that I'd let everyone know that has been asking why it doesn't follow the manga, the series was announced to be a SPINOFF of the manga. This means, original story. Hopefully y'all watch more of our future releases =D Make sure you grab Kurozuka from us when we get that out as well. |

| I was totally onboard, bad art direction for cg creatures and all, until the last 5 minutes. What was that? Someone please tell me. Is it a good thing to leave a viewer confused after the first episode, with no preview to get your bearings? Whatevs. |

| This is amazing! The end just blew my mind. This kind of reminds me of Higurashi in a way, since everyone is killed. The antagonist seems like an interesting character, so I'll keep watching this for sure! |

| I don't really know what to make of this anime quite yet... I think it has potential if they take it in an interesting direction. I wouldn't have thought that if it wasn't for the final scene where everyone friggin' dies. I'll watch a few more episodes before I figure out whether or not I'm going to drop it.
