I knew it; Old Hermit Roshi isn't as what his appearance and demeanor suggest. He is one of those perverted older men brimming with badassery. I bet, at some point, he will end up training precious little Goku. I am a bit curious, though. If the so-far mysterious Gohan, who is old enough to be called a grandpa, trained under Roshi, then how old is Roshi? Something doesn't add up. Unless, of course, Roshi is an immortal? Something tells me he is ancient. That's the only logical conclusion I could come up with right now. And no wonder Gyumao wasn't fazed one bit by Goku's onslaughts considering his training origins with Master Roshi.

So Chi-Chi is introduced and seems a bit infatuated with Goku just from patting her crotch? I mean, that's an unusual reason to have a crush on someone. I do know that further in the series, they will end up being married. I wonder how their relationship will progress to that level.

I find it interesting that Goku's weak point is his tail. Obviously, Goku isn't what people would classify as a human. Is he a part monkey, maybe? I am sure this bit of info will come into play later.

I chuckled when Bulma just cheerfully said "do they get killed?". Gyumao surely changed attitude quickly around Goku, hahaha.

Having only watched all the rest of the dragon ball series until now I never saw it but young Bulma is so hot it should be illegal.
Toriyama's art clearly peaked here.

Wow, I didn’t realize that Chichi was introduced so early on. Best episode so far, it’s nice to have some real continuity and learn more about Gohan
