| I'm 100% team Asahi here. Also despite the getting wet = getting sick trope, at least the second he sneezed they weren't all over him like "Are you ok? Did you get sick?" They actually showed him sneezing multiple times and nobody reacting to it, which I appreciate |

| I never get tired of calling Mona "simp," but today I'll let it slide because Asahi showed up and doesn't even try to hide that she also likes Medaka. The rivalry between the two was pretty funny, especially in the end with that fan-service, and Mona's part was original. |

| Oh wow, the episode opened up without the usual Mona jumping over a puddle scene, I guess if she gets rained out that’s gonna happen, but she ended up being in a good mood anyway lol, also the umbrella scene afterward was good, although if she doesn’t know what’s crossing the line with Medaka at this point then she’s a lost cause lol. But the main focus of this one was a proper introduction of the love rival Asahi, she looked the most appealing to me of the girls so I’m glad she’s finally getting focus, and I can easily say I love her already, I love how she pretty much becomes Mr. Krabs from that episode where he loves Mrs. Puff when she’s around Medaka lol, I love how she goes complete tomato in the face too. Mona wasn’t about to take her declaration of war sitting down tho, and that led to the basketball stuff which was extremely tasteful with those Mona poses, only her re-inserting of herself into Medaka’s mind was cut short when Asahi made her own display of fanservice during the planking scene, planking is already hard enough but staring down two babes’ shirts at the same time was too much for Medaka, his reaction to Asahi’s line about smaller chests was golden lol. Asahi definitely made quite the impression just from this episode, really looking forward to getting more of her, and also whatever deathly cold Medaka gets next episode because of all his sneezing in this one lol. |

| It's about time this new girl showed up! Asahi seems like the best match for Medaka (if only she'd drop the whole monk thing), but if there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that the best girl doesn't always win. Still, Asahi is adorable, and he even made me like Mona more with their little flirting war. I'm curious about the reason behind his feelings for Medaka - probably something from the past that he doesn't remember. But if she's interested in him because she sees him as a stoic, pure-hearted guy while she thinks all the other guys are perverts... well, she might be in for a surprise. |

| "No mercy", suddenly she said those words, yeah (finished Cobra Kai two days before this episode and it's a 10/10 show) Asahi has a good start because being a hoops player and a good one too, too bad she is also very socially awkward it seems. And i enjoyed hard to watch Mona Kawai is skilled at the game too, more than i could think of. Also, it's a shame i could hardly ever play basketball at p.e. classes when i had their age when i rethink about it. Unfortunately the later competition shifted into something else and both admitted "i went too far". Still, this series does a pretty good job with Mona's face expressions and monologues since episode 1. When the dialogues went in "a show off is a turnoff, sneak peeks is where it's at" territory, i immediately imagined Masachika Kuze nodding his head and smiling. |

| IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME, NOT HIM DAMMIT Anyway I thought it was just a misunderstanding that Asahi liked Kuroiwa, and instead that maybe perhaps Kuroiwa was actually a legend at basketball and that Asahi just really admired him for that aspect of him. But we see now that definitely can't be the case, as bro sucks ass at basketball, and Asahi has made it like 99% clear that she too is after him. I mean it COULD still be played off as a misunderstanding trope, but I don't see any way how they could spin this around. A war has begun, and a battle of cleavages has already been done. |

| Even on a rainy day, Mona doesn't faze from the weather, being every reason all the more to entice Kuroiwa. The new girl on the block already looks so much better than said female MC herself: the rising star of 1st year Asahi Shonan, who wants to know what Mona's shtick with Kuroiwa is. And though she managed to dodge Asahi's questions, in the basketball court, Mona can't hide forever in her class...and she immediately picks a deredere interest in Kuroiwa. Yelp, this means war. Asahi being nervous around Kuroiwa is one thing, but to get the Mona effect, it would be devastating. And to deal with such a speed bump, Mona will absolutely not lose to her, even if it kills her. But with Kuroiwa being bad at basketball, Mona purposely forcing herself onto him, which invokes the thought that she is in love with him. But when Asahi sees a challege, she takes it, and Mona will absolutely not give in....which forces the infamy of them exposing their breasts to him. Is this a joke or what? Jokes aside, we finally have competition! |

| Once again, if the roles were reversed, everyone would be flipping out and calling out the sexual harassment, but since she's a cute girl, no one says a peep. The way she caressed him from the back made me cringe. I like Asahi so much more |

| Finally, Asahi makes her entrance! Took a few episodes, but now that she’s here, things are definitely heating up in all the right (and slightly erotic) ways. The fanservice is overflowing for a non-ecchi tag anime, like seriously—they're pushing that boundary hard. Story-wise, yeah, it’s kinda light, but fingers crossed we get some actual progress or juicy drama soon to balance it all out. |
