| I'm rather disappointed as it's plainly obvious that they skipped something just to get to this point. When did Pas visit the Margrave's land? Just thinking about why they skipped something important is rather, again, disappointing. I could probably get to see a much better view of what Licorice was doing when Pas first met her in their home. Then the only thing I get to see first is Licorice pouting inside the carriage, and then later, blushing inside the church. Why...?! (she's still cute though) P.S. The sword fight's animation was average at most. It lacked impact until Pas blocked an attack which kinda made it cool but still, the animation is getting bad even when they already have a lot of time to make it better when they delayed it... forgot the reason, if there was one.  |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| I'm starting to question why this show is called 'My Sweet Reincarnation' because the show is about everything else except sweets. I kind of wish we would skip all the political things, etc., and fast-forward to the future where Pas actually makes sweets. Just making one bonka (apple) pie won't really justify the show's name...I don't know, but somehow the fact side-plots taking over the main topic (making sweets) is starting to bother me a bit. Makes me wonder if, in the light novel, the author couldn't come up with a sweets-making-based plot, so they went for everything else. ^^' |

| I really thought me and this show were on the same page until this episode. This is now the second show I'm watching this season where I feel like I must have missed an episode or two but don't think I did. Because honestly I had no idea what was going on story-wise in this one. All I remember from last week was confronting that one noble woman over funds to repair the village wells and other stuff attacked by the bandits and showing off the portrait magic. I either completely forgot or they just never introduced this new girl they're protecting until now, but they act like we're supposed to know who she is already so I must have just forgotten...in under a week. Man, sometimes I worry my memory is shot. I mean...I'm not THAT old....yet anyway. But I digress... And yeah, as others have said there's not nearly enough use/screentime involving sweets given it is ostensibly the main gimmick of the series. |
| Casserole and Pas being invited to the Kadlecek Family's coming-of-age banquet for the grandson of Squale, it's a steal of a show for Pas with his matchmaking portraits. It's obvious that Pas is trying to set up a marriage proposal, and then faking it more because of a long feud between the families of Kadlecek and Hubarek, it's a deal that works as a win-win solution. Too bad that Pas has to put his actual sweets making aside. With the approval of Squale and Petra's arranged marriage after the latter's coming-of-age, the Church is the one entity that they should look out for. But as it turns out from the tumultuous relatiionship of the kingdom's major families, having her be in the Church for sanctification is better, but his receipt for sweets making got rejected outright. Going to see Margrave Hubarek to escort them to the Church in anticipation of attacking forces, and transporting them down to the Santification chamber for the ceremony, handled delicately. Protection, with sweets being an afterthought. |

| Idk if it's because I'm just sleepy rn but man I had a hard time getting through this episode. It felt like not much really happened, but at the same time it felt really dragged out for some reason @felixsifuri @iggggi Wait you're so right LOL 🤦♂️ It just hit me that this is supposed to be a show about baking. Which is what I came here for. Just some fun baking in another world, and yet this is episode 5, and at this point there's been more fighting and just standing around talking, then actual baking, and I seriously doubt the next episode will have any baking at all judging by how this is going. Idk I just think it's a bit off to me, especially since now that I'm thinking about it, this is pretty generic huh? Like if I were to try to describe this show to someone, what would I even say? Oh yeah it's an isekai where the MC has like magic and he uses it to create portraits... And there's like a lot of swordfights... Oh yeah and the MC bakes once like every 3 episodes... Yeah |

I'm starting to find this meta-trolling of the show never allowing Pas talk about sweets hilarious. It's the biggest surprise and subversion that a show supposedly about sweets, so far has had very little to do with sweets. I don't mind because there's plenty of other interesting things going on, and witty dialog by Pas. The show also seems to have gotten past the horrible writing of having the kids get sucker by the head bandit.

Ah but you forget, Pastry can duplicate the big boobed sister's "assets" to the flat chested one. It just becomes slightly tedious if the modification only lasts 3 days.

My subs said "men are all the same...in any age, any world", while the English Dub said "I suppose boys are a bit gross...in any age, any world". I think the dub was more insulting, pity I actually like the VA for the characters she voices and her delivery, but then again I guess it might have been the script editor for the English dub responsible for it.

| Licorice confirmed as Pas’ companion? Pas and his father both join an escort mission for a coming of age ceremony and are hired to protect the people of interest. Episode was decent, I like how Pas used a random napkin for that image copy lol |
