| I decided to rewatch this and I dont even remember when the last time was when I saw it. 7 years I think? I remember the animation beeing a bit better, I guess its the later episodes seeing as this came out in 2006! Holy hell I never new this was this old. Anyway the original japanese dub is kind of lame for an insane show like this, feels more like from the 80s. |

| I was actually surprised to learn that the VA playing Anderson in the dub is indeed Scottish. He sounds like he's putting an accent on just as some of the others are. |

| Well I've put Hellsing Ultimate off for some time and coming from the og Hellsing my hopes were quite high as I enjoyed the og quite a bit and well this first episode delivered in everyway. The animation is honestly spectacular and the overall atmosphere is amazing along with how dark and gritty it. Also the introduction of each character throughout the episode along with the opening intro of Alucard at the start was amazing. The english dub as well is one my favourite in anime, every voice actor is honestly amazing and I especially like the main casts voice actors and the accents. The fights and action scenes throughout this was another highlight, I cant wait to see the story finally adapted in full. @Sheol01 Sheol01 said: Though I personally like his accent, I understand what you are getting at.
