| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So the wait is finally over, and episode 5 is at last sailing through the seas of the internet. And as expected, it delivers. I've never sen such a bloodbath in any anime. They even remembered the baby eating vampire, and Willis also makes an appearance-willis. We also finally get to hear the "Broken English" insert song, and I believe they chose quite an appropriate scene for it... Sadly, not much Alucard this time, but the Lord of Wallachia will be back in force next time, I guarantee it. Then for some screens. Low res as they may be though. |

| I do like how they add in some extra for the continuity, like showing Sir Islands escape, and the flashbacks to the end of WWII in the ending, and Islands visiting the graves that can only belong to the previous Sir Hellsing. The Dream sequence in the start seemed to be expanded as well. Guess I'll have to wait for the subs anyways then. |

| Fuck YES!!! Iscariot XIII!!! even without Seras and Alucard, it was fucking amazing nonetheless. Walter showing his skills against the traitors and Heinkel and Yumie were the high points of the episode. Somebody said: Has anyone subbed this yet? And if so, who? Nope. | A script has been released, just check at TT. Anyway, this 5th episode was fucking great! Even though Alucard barely appeared in it, I still loved it! Wonder what's going to happen to Walter. And it sucks that we're going to have to wait, god knows how many months, until the 6th episode. |
| This was probably the episode I was least looking forward to. Man, was I wrong. Blood, badassery, and chaos run rampant, excellent episode. It could not have come out any better. |

| That was so awesome that if i were to describe it in full detail, the words wouldn't even have been invented yet. I think I'm going to dread the long wait till the next episode but from the looks of whats coming i doubt i will be displeased once it arrives. |

| My Fucking God..... THIS SUX MAN !! I'll have to wait for OVA 6 again so long time omfg !! THis was RAELLY RLY RLY RLY Awesome shit dudes..... rarely I sit SO excited on the tip of my chair bursting with adrenaline like during this Hellsing 5th OVA episode.... And omfg they animated it DARN GOOD !! Looked so damn awesome , beautifully done really, everything looked really neat and explosions looked awesome too.... I LURVED IT !! Ps, the ending was quite abrupt indeed.... I was just checking how long there was left nd it was over alrdy Just me or was this episode much shorter than previous one(s) !? :S :( |

| it was almost as awesome as manga. black humour and gore have done their work pretty well plus that music made me remember some Kill Bill (litres of blood and some boogie-woogie). love the way they told story of that old friend of Integra's father. Madhouse really did a good job making OVA 5 not only an episode but also a finished story somehow. |

| The long time between releases just make this that much sweeter. Can't say much about the episode itself that hasn't been said already, added the series to favs after watching it heh. I also liked the ED with the mayor backstory, it was a nice touch. |

| Awesome, the only thing that was missing was Alucard in action, but it was a great OVA, so much bloodshed, lol. I´m diyng to see the next. The Hellsing OVA's never let me down, they are great!! |

| Absolutely amazing. The OVAs made me pick up the whole manga series(where is my vol.10?) and now I have to wait for ep.6. The baby eating scene was intense but does show the brutality of war. It seems they tried more variety with the music and some worked and one or two songs I didn't particularly like. I think they used a tad bit too much CG but still amazing animation. I want this released in the US on DVD NOW! |
