Glanced at your plan to watch list and from it, I suggest you have to try either Angel Beats, Baccano!, or Banana Fish. I love love love all three of those!

I think you'll like IDOLiSH7 VIbrato on your PTW, and season 2 - I mean Ono Kensho 10/10

Also Natsume Yuujinchou

Since you liked No Game No Life you might also like
Mondaiji-tachi

BSD: Hitori Ayumu
Also the BSD OVA which is set probably between or around S2/S3!

Mob Psycho 100 is also a good show that I enjoyed ;3

<3 Thank you both, I have a feeling I'll end up using all of these at some point since I'm aiming for the full 122, but for the challenge entry it's going to be Angel Beats (Random generator decided!)

Nice! I hope you enjoy all of those shows. Angel Beats is definitely a very good one. And good luck going for the full 122!

Thanks a lot for the recs!!! I'll go with IDOLiSH7 :D

Cool cool! As an idol anime I found it pretty unique in the fact that it actually had substance lol. And actual realistic problems such as social media and whatever. Also very great singing. I love Eguchi Takuya in this XD

Honestly it's a great rec, I avoided it initially because the synopsis makes it sound like a reverse harem, but I'm glad that's not the case.

Also I love ALL of the MCs' VAs (especially Eguchi, hnnghhh) so it's a great rec. :D

Thanks again!

Ooh nice! I love watching anime by VAs, and when they're in idol anime and they sing... so well... YES
To be fair in the second season there were some weird moments where it seemed like some character liked the girl, but I just ignored it.
It was based off a game anyway. I guess they have that stuff.

I see you are a woman of culture as well :D I have so many favorite VAs they couldn't fit in my favorites, and tbh I'm more of a VA otaku than an anime otaku, so I also go by what anime I watch based on if one or more of my fave VAs is a main character in it X'D

And yeah, I think it's an otome game? Oh well, I doubt I'll get as far as the second season, but we'll see X'D I don't typically like idol anime but I decided to give them a go this year to step out of my comfort zone and to actually see more anime with an all-male/predominantly male MC, because I think I've exhausted my non-idol list so far X'D

Honestly, I love the voice actors so much. I will watch anime if someone I know and like is in it. This is how I added so many anime to my to-watch list. I'll give almost anything a try if the right voice actor is in there.
To be honest I was hesitant about idols at first. But then someone convinced me to because of the voice actors. Even though my first one was some reverse harem trash I liked the singing and voice actors so it wasn't all that bad.

Well, we'll see how much you end up liking/disliking it I guess!

Seinen... Huh? I don't know too many.

[ur=https://myanimelist.net/anime/31478/Bungou_Stray_Dogs]Bungou Stray Dogs
I guess it's a seinen because the tags say so. There are elements of mystery which you might enjoy.
HanaKana also appears as a supporting/minor role in all three seasons.

Kiseijuu / Parasyte
Apparently also a seinen. Also features HanaKana (in a more main role). This one has more horror. Also has action.

Houseki no Kuni
The only other seinen I've watched that you haven't. This is very different from the other recommendations in which it isn't set in Japan (it's set in some fantasy world), has non-human characters (they're gems or something), and also doesn't have HanaKana lol. But it might be worth a watch. There's a huge element of mystery surrounding just about everything.

Psycho-Pass
Isn't a seinen but might be worth watching otherwise. Has HanaKana as the main character. This one is more similar to anime such as Death Note and Steins;Gate - makes you question things, has action, is a thriller, that type.

Hope one of these sounds interesting!

On your PTW, Saiki K. is good.
It's very similar to Mob Psycho 100 and One Punch Man, and the main character's dry humor/sarcasm/bluntness is great. It says 120 episodes but the entire anime is about the duration of 24 24-minute episodes.

If you end up liking Saiki K. you might end up liking Wan Sheng Jie
It's Chinese and has a unique art style, but it takes under an hour to watch and is very similar character wise and humor wise. Both are supernatural, comedy, slice-of-life anime.

Death Note is definitely a must watch. I regret not watching it sooner. If you like that, you'll also like Code Geass
If you like those and Steins;Gate, you might also enjoy
Psycho-Pass - which is a psychological + action sci-fi.
And if you like that you might also enjoy Kiseijuu/Parasyte which is also psychological, action, and Sci-Fi. Though Kiseijuu is set more present-day, while Psycho-Pass is set in a more futuristic location.

Now... These are some more comedies. Like the first two. XD
No Game No Life was also great. Very fun to watch.

If you end up liking No Game No Life, you might enjoy
Mondaiji-tachi
because it's also about playing games, main characters in another world, has comedy.

Hope something sounds interesting to you! :)

Kyoukai no Kanata
It's 12 episodes and 1 sequel movie and 10000 questions I have that remain unanswered. It reminded me of Angel Beats in some ways. Also sad moments.

If you really like Kajiura Yuki, Pandora Hearts is great. OST composed by her ;D

I think there's a chance you'll like Natsume Yuujinchou based on your favorites listed... but I really haven't watched many of them so I can't say for sure. It has six seasons, some OVA, etc- but there's no need to watch all of it. Especially since many of the stories are episodic.

If you liked Saiki K. you might like Wan Sheng Jie - except it's way shorter. "It's Chinese and has a unique art style, but it takes under an hour to watch and is very similar character wise and humor wise. Both are supernatural, comedy, slice-of-life anime."

Bungou Stray Dogs was pretty cool for action/mystery/supernatural. I really like it, though it might've been more for the characters than the plot or something.

Anyway, hope you find one of these interesting! Or I could try to give more reommendations.

Here you go, season 3 of Natsume Yuujinchou!

Hah.

Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus is the sequel to Kuroshitsuji. Except Miyano Mamoru also shows up. Cool, right?

Mondaiji-tachi[/url[ is similar to No Game No Life. (because it's also about playing games, main characters in another world, has comedy.)

Saiki K.

Eh... is there a reason you rated Death Note a 6 xD

anyway,
Quanzhi Gaoshou nice prequel movie! that could be worth watching. Idk.
(It's a movie though. Might not be able to use it if you're using the 20 episodes thing)

Uh... really not much on my list seems like your type or is something good.

Nisemonogatari obviously if you liked Bakemonogatari.

Natsume Yuujinchou
if you like youkai / slice-of-life / some comedic moments / heartwarming + angsty moments

Nurarihyon no Mago
if you like youkai / secret identity / lots of fighting / some comedic moments

I said this to others but
Wan Sheng Jie if you liked Saiki K.
"It's Chinese and has a unique art style, but it takes under an hour to watch and is very similar character wise and humor wise. Both are supernatural, comedy, slice-of-life anime."
(You might like it in the future, it's only 4-minute episodes unfortunately)

Are you into.... actiony things...? Idk

Look, if you liked OPM and Mob Psycho 100
You might like
Saiki K.
Although the first season is technically 120 shorter episodes, so it wouldn't work. However, the second season is 24 24-min episodes. Just like the first. Except the first was divided. If you find yourself interested you can watch both! Haha

Uhhhh if you like super cool "I beat everyone" main character,
Quanzhi Gaoshou might be good for you.
It's similar to SAO because of the whole gaming aspect, but these gamers are not trapped in a world. And there are quite a few comedic moments.

here-
Natsume Yuujinchou
if you like youkai / slice-of-life / some comedic moments / heartwarming + angsty moments

Kyoukai no Kanata

These are all about 12 eps except for the first one mentioned, which is more of a "maybe in the future" thing ;3

You're tempting me with 2 animes that I've been intrested in for a while, Kyoukai no Kanata and Pandora Hearts.

I'm going with Pandora Herts for this, I've listened to the host quite a lot and it's about time I watch it. I might just put Kyoukai in the only vacant spot remaining too.
I also gotta thank you for Wan Sheng Jie, I've never heard of it and it's going in my PTW.

Host... OST?

Anyway, I hadn't heard of Wan Sheng Jie before either... I think I found it while looking for an ONA actually XD

You should definitely give these anime a try. I just wish Pandora Hearts got some remake because the anime ending is 100% different from what happened in the manga.

Yep, OST, I guess my brain's disconnected after 6 hours on adobe illustrator...
Well Kajiura can improve anything imo, but I don't think I'm gonna score it that low anyway.

HI! I will recommend you some stuff!

If you liked Ansatsu Kyoushitsu you might also like
Saiki K.
Because uhh comedy. Also there's this manga one-shot where Koro-sensei meets Saiki and they fight over uh... a manju or something. But not really.

Natsume Yuujinchou is another favorite of mine.
Natsume shares a voice actor with Saiki and I like Kamiya Hiroshi but I liked the anime more than just the voice actors XD
Natsume Yuujinchou has more feels and angst and heartwarming moments... and youkai. But there's also some comedy at times and it's awesome.

Bakemonogatari
It's more of a harem-like series but it also has youkai and Kamiya Hiroshi.

Bungou Stray Dogs
This one's more action/mystery/supernatural powers and cool fighting scenes. I mean it also has Kamiya Hiroshi...
Well, I enjoyed this series but I don't know why I like it so much. It could be the voice actors, characters, idk the plot?? The plot was interesting.

Mob Psycho 100 is another good comedy anime.

You seem to rate Steins;Gate, Kiseijuu, Death Note - relatively high - I guess, so you might like
Psycho-Pass
as well.
Though Psycho-Pass is more in a futuristic setting and stuff, it has a similar feel to the aforementioned three series. I kind of ended up grouping them together somehow...

Anyway, I enjoyed all of these and hope you find interest in one of these!

Hi! This is my first year doing this challenge and I'm very excited to be a part of it! Can someone please recommend me an anime (preferably not from my PTW)? It can be an OVA, ONA, Movie, series, etc. I would prefer something that isn't too long (maybe 26 episodes as a max?) and I dislike hentai, harems, ecchi, yaoi/yuri, horror.

Thanks in advance!! :D

Hi there! Uh.... *looks at my list, lots of harems and some horror oops*
Although I see that you also watch Natsume Yuujinchou! Yay!

Also if you liked Natsume you might like
Nurarihyon no Mago
It's pretty similar to Natsume in some ways. There are youkai and a main character with a secret. Though in Natsume, Natsume can see youkai, while in Nurarihyon, the main character is a (part) youkai. Kamiya Hiroshi appears in one episode of Nurarihyon. Also if you liked Code Geass, Lelouch's voice actor voices the main character in Nurarihyon. And said main character also has a secret identity. Very cool. Nurarihyon also has more action and fighting than Natsume, but I think it also has some sad moments.
Also Okamoto Nobuhiko shows up for some time as a minor antagonist, you might be able to find him hah.

[[Oh yeah, you should also watch more Natsume Yuujinchou - ED5 is sung by Aimer and you seem to like her :3]]

Mondaiji-tachi is a comedy and is reminiscent of No Game No Life (which is on your PTW). I think based on your ratings for anime that we share, you'll enjoy it.
Though I do believe it has a bit of ecchi (like, you know, a lot of anime these days).

I think you might also like Code:Breaker - it's more action and less comedy compared to Mondaiji, but again based on our shared anime list I think you'll like it. Plus the main character Oogami Rei has Okamoto Nobuhiko as his voice actor.

Saiki K.
A great comedy series that I'm sure you will enjoy if you liked Mob Psycho 100, One Punch Man, etc. The main character has the best commentary on various situations, definitely worth a watch.
There's also a manga one-shot crossover with Ansatsu Kyoushitsu which is pretty funny.

Anyway, here are some recommendations! I am pretty sure none of these are hentai, harems, ecchi, yaoi/yuri, or horror. Well... except when mentioned.

Well... I just started this and I absolutely detest the romance, but if you like romance you might like it.
Inu x Boku SS
HanaKana, Miyano Mamoru, and Matsuoka Yoshitsugu!

(Honestly if I survive watching it, it'll be because of them.)

If you end up liking Inu x Boku SS, you might also like Vampire Knight - which I highly disliked because of the romance. But hey if you like romance you probably won't dislike it?

Also Bungou Stray Dogs is one of my favorites mostly for the characters. Miyano Mamoru and HanaKana show up here as well.

On your PTW Angel Beats is definitely worth watching. If you like that, there's a 90% chance you'll also like Charlotte. Since it's pretty similar when it comes to characters and feels and comedy.

Code Geass is pretty similar to Death Note, so if you liked Death Note (I guess not since you rated it a 5) you'll like it as well. Also Code Geass is awesome. Although if you don't think highly of Death Note, chances are you won't like the brainy plans and strategies and stuff of Code Geass. Plus Code Geass is also mecha. But I personally liked it, so, there's that.

There we go, some random-ish recs.

Has HiroC and OnoD as main characters. HiroC as Saiki (the mainest character who has internal monologues and talks super fast?) and OnoD as "that one dumb guy" - they actually talked about their roles in Saiki K. on an episode of DGS. Anyway...
Anyway. It's a very fun comedy series. Definitely one of my favorites, though it's 24 episodes actually aha.

You should definitely consider watching Natsume Yuujinchou
I mean, it's on your PTW and I really like it. With youkai, heartwarming moments, and some angst. And some comedic moments.

Eh... On your PTW you should definitely watch Death Note because it was good. I think if you like BSD you will probably like Death Note too? There aren't too many similarities but uh... yeah maybe it's the intelligent characters with their epic plans.

And then Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu has Ono Daisuke. And it's pretty similar to Hyouka. You might like it?

So yeah ;3

I don't know if I can ask this here but can someone recommend me an anime with more main characters than supporting characters?

Tanjou: Debut has 3 main characters and 0 supporting characters. It's about an hour long. And it's so confusing I don't remember what happened XD

But it works.

Hi there! Uh.... *looks at my list, lots of harems and some horror oops*
Although I see that you also watch Natsume Yuujinchou! Yay!

Anyway, here are some recommendations! I am pretty sure none of these are hentai, harems, ecchi, yaoi/yuri, or horror. Well... except when mentioned.

Thank you for all the recommendations!! They all look great. I chose to go with Saiki K, but I plan to check out the others as well (maybe for another bingo number or something!). I went and watched the first 5 episodes and so far it's already made me laugh a few times xD

Awesome! Saiki K. is definitely one of my favorite anime. I'm glad you're liking it so far!

Hey, I'd love some recs if you've got them. I'd prefer if they weren't over 30 episodes and I'd like if it was in my PTW, but honestly I'll try whatever!

But could i get some recs for (87)
Length preferred 1 cour or shorter, but 2 cour is also fine.
Any type, genre and theme is also fine.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much! It's a tricky choice but I think I'll do Hataraku Maou-sama!

I'll return the favour!

I took a look at your PTW and I saw Amaama to Inazuma. That's one of my favourite anime, it's so healing and so sweet. I reccomend it if you have a bad day and need something to pick you up.

I also absolutely recommend Anatsu Kyoshitsu! It's comedic with a darker edge and it can be uproariously funny while still having some really emotional and biting scenes!
