You must be pretty stupid to do that, do it while you do college. Snd if you make enough money to sustain yourself then you can maybe consider dropping out.

Try establishing yourself first before dropping out.

Hey, I'm not even in college, so maybe dropping out of it is in itself a progress under some wicked lens.

While I do think men should chase their dreams no matter how dumb they may look to others, I dont think you should drop off college. By gaming I assume you mean streaming? At least gain some popularity before doing this, and after you graduate from college you can do whatever the fuck you want. Either way, make sure to chase your dream to it's limits and if you decide to do it,DO IT.

Why bother with all the hard work of watching SAO and playing Fortnite?

Just drop out of college and tell your parents you're playing scratch-lottery full time. 1st prize is like $25m, which is WAY more than these sheep with their (so-called) "degrees" make.

And all you nay-sayers trying to hold my man back, saying "stay in college", only 70-80% of college grads end up employed ANYWAY, so really he has MUCH betters odds if just drops out and becomes the next Pewdiepie or Ninja.

Many jobs nowadays require college degrees so I suggest not to drop.
If anything, you could start a gaming channel on the side but honestly, you shouldn't be having a tough time balancing education and side hobbies unless you really detest your major. If so, I suggest studying a different major like maybe something related to game design or?
Otherwise, if you do end up dropping college just to watch anime, I hope you know that you'll be relying on your parents for a long time.

Take my suggestion with a grain of salt since I'm not even in college yet >.<

No, I don't recommend it. Why don't you do something productive with your life?
BANZAI NIPPON. Nippon is the Land of freedom. Nippon is the Land of Peace. Nippon is the Land of Justice and Prosperity.

In Nippon, we trust.

We love Nippon, we love Anime. Anime love us, Nippon love us. 日本

depends on how passionate you are about it and embracing the surreal fact that you might fail miserably.

Anime has given me gut-busting laughs, catharsis in the form of crying, allowed me to relate and feel empathy, explore new worlds. has been there for me when people haven't. can be free or I can buy it and have a piece of my heart in a tangible form.

college education has given me debt that I am having a hard time paying off. it also has not led me to any of the jobs I've had in my life. and the things I really want to do aren't your typical corporate jobs anyways.

anime>college. follow your heart.

I don't recommend you to drop out of college to watch anime just to end up in the same situaton I'm in. I'm telling you this as a jobless 49 years old virgin porn addicted fat godless otaku gamer.

Life requires balance or you won't end up in a good place, in life and mentally. I guarantee that you will end up with depression if you don't already suffer from it.
Sacrificing sleep and sanity for more anime-induced dopamine.

I hope OP is just joking. If you aren't, then please smack yourself. You can do whatever it is you have to, working or studying, and still have time( there are very little people who literally have no time at all) to watch anime or play games.

Can you imagine if I went to the police department and told the sheriff: sorry sir but I want to take time off to watch anime so I'm going to quit and come back sometime. He is going to laugh on my face literally. Then I would be that woman that stopped chasing criminals to watch anime.

Me: Alexa queue Linkin Park

*Playing - Linkin Park - In the end*

..I've tried so hard got so far..

...In the end it doesn't even matter...

Looks like bait thread but. If OP is serious I envy you for having the luxury and motivation to do so.

But in most cases selling out is the the most rational option. Sucks but that's life. But that doesn't mean you can't chase your dreams. Just be aware of how hard it is to be a professional gamer. Do you have what it takes? and make sure you are certain you can actually produce some form of income out of it. It's no easy feat but if you're crazy enough, the choice is yours. It's your life nobody has the right to force you to do anything. Except for the man. At the end of the day we all pay taxes.

Most people that actually make it is really small it's like being football stars easy to dream about, it's glamorous but can you play for Brazil?

And their training regiment is so harsh it can even consume like 16 hours - 22 hours a day.

You need skill, hard work and luck, I doubt you'd be able to watch anime on the side.

the real question is how long will your parents let an unmotivated sack lurk in their basement and eat all their food? because your dream will last exactly that long.

if you don't already have a well established youtube channel with tens of thousands of subs, or a twitch/mixer channel with several hundred regular viewers and subs, you're pretty much fucked. unless you're some ridiculous phenom, going fulltime youtube/streaming takes a lot of time.. and that's only if you're at least entertaining.

That sounds like a recipe for a disaster. I would recommend staying in college and focusing on studies instead. It's going to be better in the long run.

Cause of studies I gave up all kind of hobbies, and my playlist screams for me to watch it, but then I say to myself "hey, my studies won't wait for me. My hobbies will."

Don't drop out and don't take anime or gaming so serious. Not everyone can make a living of playing and streaming on twitch. And whoever tells you to follow that dream, that person is either 12 and stuck in their tumblr self-love phase or dropped out and proposed to their waifu bodypillow.

If you cannot balance it, stop your hobby untill your education is somewhat decent and favor it above anything else.

Anyone can steal your anime figures, your gaming console or hack your account on twitch. But noone can steal your knowledge.
