| Hi everyone, I am LVSTLOTUS, though you can just call me Marc. I am really posting my stuff here because I guess I am feeling a bit lonely, and hoping to make other artist friends. I have always enjoyed working on art, and currently writing a story I hope to self publish into a comic/manga. I used to draw/paint in a much more semi-realistic way, but my roots were anime, and I have found switching back to what I love has made me re-fall in love with art and stories. if anyone wants to be friends, please feel free to add me. Below is a small range of my work from my recent story covers, to pixel art, to my older painterly stuff. my newer black/white manga stuff is definitely my weakest since I am newer to the medium of rendering with ink and screentone, but I hope to improve quickly! |

You could start with a sketch with the tried and true paper and pencil and draw over that with whatever painting program you use. Or, take the vector approach and use Illustrator's pen tool, which would give you much more flexibility and allow you to easily fix your errors. |

I sometimes take random art and change them to my style. i enjoy more mature features. For this one i don't remember if i did the same or just randomly drew it off of my head tbh. |

Using mouse/touchpad to draw is a nightmare lol. I draw the lineart on paper, scanned it, then clean it in photoshop before I got a tablet. |
