Oishi just knows everything, doesn't he? Rena would've easily gone away with the murder if he weren't to exist.

What a good group of friends.

Great episode reminding about the good message of the series.
I actually wonder why Satoko never questioned Rena killing her uncle , seems like all these stories explain some things , but all happen in different timelines.

This is just funny. They deserved that. But, its too brutal, i can't take it anymore. Its even too sudden. The whole mutilation part, and that killing shit. Damn, Rena! You did there xD. But for most of the surprised, Keiichi reaction. I guessed his respond kinda neutral on these one, and really distracted from every arcs that happened before. However, his reason was understandable. At least he succeeded to persuaded her before its too late and really broken out her body from inside. Holy shit situations! Its really a messed up village!

Now, now, Oishi. What would you do there? I hope you didn't broke their happy friendship. Because its might getting dirty with all of the thing happened lately. I really wonder how they would respond to that curious cop? It sounds interesting. And what about the document that had an odd number? Lets see the next, then! Its truly intriguing me!

Fuck yeah, let's go Rena. Those fuckers deserved that, their faces though when they got whacked or slashed Jeezuz. Rena a true professional, chopping the bodies into pieces lmao.

Their friendship truly is beautiful though, now they are all accomplices. But, fucking hell Oishi's gonna be an antagonist again.

This arc is not necessarily following the first arc. It's showing different events, but it'll still probably answer questions we had in the first arc.

Don't blame Rena at all for killing those bastards. Way to go.

And Oishi again, I actually kinda like him.

I thought Oishi is a good cop but to be honest, he is irritating after all these while. He can't defend normal citizens from those a..holes and only always appear when crimes appear. If police do their jobs right, less murder cases.

Awesome episode. Murder is a serious crime so I don't exactly approve of the friends' decision to keep it a secret amongst themselves, but I will commend their dedication to their friendship and each other ahaha.

Also it seems like Ooishi is on the case! I wonder if he suspects Rena, and if so, what evidence does he have to base it off of?

A decent episode. It's nice to see the voiceless and animationless sound novel getting adapted into anime.

Though in my opinion, what this episode and the previous episodes lack of are the fine details. For those who never read the novel, I highly recommend to try reading the sound novel to understand more details, since the anime is not able to show deep characters' thoughts. Even Rena's past in the previous episode was only told briefly, while in the novel it was narrated thoroughly.

Despite the things I mentioned above, the anime is good at displaying the essential plot elements, especially the characters' conversation and the bloody scenes.

I can see how this might link with the first chapter...I remember everyone in the chapter saying "no idea what your talking about" and stuff like that to keichi when he asked about a murder at that place....maybe keichi somehow forgets it completely?

Wow, that's true ! I completly forgot about that. Now I understand where we are going. Thanks for the notice ! That's actually amazing ^^

You know what, I agree with Reina from the 1st arc, Oishi should have been killed back during the dam incidents
But I'm gonna guess that that oyashimaru demon god must really enjoy chaos for sparing him

Serious Rena is fucking serious. Now our friends are in a silence pact about the murders. I was wondering where Oishi-sama is during the scene where kids were pushing a cart with human stumps through the woods, et voilà, there he was at the very end already on the trail.

Get em Rena, bitch tried to kill you first. Just defending your papa with the 2nd one lol. Probably didnt need to kill him yet though.

Shouldve just quickly buried them as deep as possible in the garbage dump though. But i guess they needed to have her friends find out since she apparently couldnt live with what happened alone

it feels like this is the most rushed episode in the series - there's no pacing to the events that unfold unlike the rest of the series, and it just ends up feeling really schlocky for that reason

Reina's dad is playing right into the palm of Lina and her scheme. Still don't understand how desperate you need to be to spend 100k's on someone to show them your love. If it was real love, money would be the least of their concerns.

I know I said earlier that Lina doesn't necessarily need to be murdered but now I believe she needed to be tortured before being killed. I know it's morally wrong to murder anyone but goddamn, this series has some really detestable characters who deserve nothing but pain and misery. Reina, you go girl.

Also, Teppei is such a fucking bastard that I don't think he deserves to live in any reality. In one reality he's a fucking child abuser, in the second, he's a cheat mf who extorts money outta people. His head chop was nasty but well deserved.

Oh man, the second half of the episode was so wholesome even though they were actively trying to cover up a murder. Kei is chad for spitting those facts.

Looks like Oishi is already suspecting the gang.

I know it's not supposed to be, but the scene where they're all comforting Rena was unintentionally hilarious to me. "You should have told us you committed 2 murders, Rena! We've got your back, no matter what!"

Hinamizawa kids are a whole other level of fucked up, I guess.
