| Don't get me wrong, if you are not into that kind of character or you just don't like Arima, i understand. The thing i don't understand is why people say that they hate him, when he did basically nothing wrong unless you count killing ghouls something wrong. |

| I genuinely laughed and thought arcanix was trolling me. Then acernos chimed in. Lol but I don't like Arima because he is the enforcer, the number 1 lapdog of the CCG. And he said killing ghouls was a hobby in jack. Lol He hasn't showed me he's anything but a tool working for an organization that depicts themselves as a force of good. And do we really wanna go the ethics route? About organizations and ghoul restaurants? Because there is no code of ethics made towards ghouls by the CCG except for kill them unless you can use them in a way to kill more of them. Like they aren't harvesting them. Liquid ghouls? Multiple Aratas... | I knew he had memory problems, and simply didn't remember his past. And the fact that he wouldn't tell Amira more about Serpent pretty much foreshadows that when Sasaki remembers his past self (which he will soon I'm guessing), he will have trouble deciding on which side to stay (CCG or ghouls). Also lol at mom... I guess Akira x Sasaki romance ain't happening. And we will really see Touka so soon? I expected her to show up later, I guess there won't be much romance happening between them either. |

| This chapter was the turning point of this series for me. Reading :re had me under the assumption Kaneki, or rather Sasaki, was just in denial, but he seems a lot happier, and evidently a lot less broken which is never a bad thing for a character. I love the whole chemistry of Arima and Kaneki, and love it even more with Akira and Sasaki. I'd rather they keep it figurative, but if its revealed later on that Arima and Sasaki have a literal dad - son relationship, that would be fine as well. Overall, Sasaki is a champ and he's definitely living up to Kaneki's status. |
