City the Animation OP (never ended up starting the series at all as I was watching a sizable number of other series and also figured that it wouldn't be up my alley too much as it seemed more pure comedy than Slice of Life with comedy, but the most attractive aspect of it to me from the outside looking in seemed to be the art style and this OP does have some of that visual identity on display - this and the Nichijou art style always just screamed classic comics/cartoons to me) 3.) Dealing with Mikadono Sisters is a Breeze OP (It might be slightly less ambitious than the other alternative option, but I like how it has in a way that very straightforward and classic/textbook energetic OP feel; plus, the girls are pretty) 4.) Ruri no Houseki OP (easily as it's not only what I'd consider the best OP in its own summer season, but in the Top 3 for the year as a whole; and although Nyaight of the Living Cat is one of the very few series I dropped early in the season, after two episodes, never to look back, I'm still not biased against the OP attached to it - it's actually disarming how it sneaks up on one as an easy listen and catchy and even somewhat memorable tune. It just doesn't hold a candle to Ruri's in terms of beauty of the vocals, visuals, and their smooth integration) |

It has a couple of over arching plot elements, and moments where it just feels relaxing to watch. And the animations is quite beautiful to watch in both the high octane moments, and the slow enchanting moments. |
