| One of the two best episodes of Shibuya Arc so far imo, at least animation-wise. Only the Choso vs Itadori Yuji episode comes close to this. They even expanded on the Toji vs Megumi fight from the manga LOL, the animators just absolutely love that man. |

| Touji regained clarity, but couldn't maintain it or did he decide he was already done? Epic fighting scenes. This goes to show how strong Satoru (compared to Jougo) and Sukuna are. No chance to beat Sukuna without Satoru for now it seems. |

| Definitely some bittersweet feelings for me with this one, first off the Toji and Fushiguro bit was awesome, looked very damn cool and I like that it was basically Fushiguro running for his life while Toji hunted him down mercilessly, and you had that nice moment where the resurrected Toji remembered Fushiguro, but then he offed himself. While I guess that makes sense but it kinda hurt to see, the man absolutely stole every scene he was in and to see him go like that kinda sucks but at the same time I don’t think we necessarily need more of him, what short amount he was in the show was amazing. And then of course, you have the Sakuna and Jogo fight, which first of all looked awesome despite the fact it was kinda hard to follow during parts of it, and although I liked the respect Sakuna gave Jogo, fuck that guy lol, glad he got done in, definitely deserved after he gave Maki’s face the easy bake oven treatment, good moment and all but I had that at the back of my mind lol. And looks like after fight ended things are getting even more crazy with a new character appearing and that one blonde fucko being attacked after he backstabbed Fushiguro, this arc just doesn’t stop going lol. |
| Man you know mappa is just on fire lmao. They went with a different animation style this episode. Less detail but easier for fluid animation. Some stuff looked cool, but a lot of scenes were really hard to follow. A lot of blurring and fast movements. Some of that could be because of Japan's bullshit broadcasting laws tho. Fire dude got roasted. No idea where tf the story is gonna go from here tbh. Shibuya has been melted. |

Gets a 4/5 from me.
It was very good, don't get me wrong, but I don't think the change in art style was that good. Shots and cut oscillated between beautiful, good, okay and very rare ugly ones (e.g. 15:13 mark, when Sukuna is rushing at Jogo inside a dark building).
Of course, all that inconsistency is mostly obfuscated by insane choreography, acting, soundtrack and the events themselves that unfolded. Really hyped for episode 17!

It was so fucking smooth, you can not say it is ugly. Might as well call the whole mob psycho anime ugly just cuz it's less detailed. And do not get me wrong i am not saying everything else was not great, this one was just unique af, something u would not expect in a jjk eps. |
