Inami is a mad dog... from the perspective of an innocent guy anyway ><
She doesn't seem all that grateful to Takanashi even though he totally sacrifice himself so that passerby don't get hurt and so she can have fun...
Even though the show progresses slowly towards romantic relationships it isn't done in a too standard way. That's probably because of the comedy which is stuffed between the other things. As the show itself doesn't try to move into a greater goal that needs to be achieved, the pacing and development itself is okay.
The characters are also entertaining, the one who got introduced in this episode is no exception in this regard.
Memor said: Hot springs episode without the hot springs.
I really want to like this show but just, Inami ruins it so much...
The humour isn't even that great most of the time but there are some good characters even still...
I hear you; I ended up watching all three seasons pretty much just for Yamada, as she's the one who tends to bring the humour in my opinion. Since she's only just been introduced for you, I'd recommend going through to the end of the first season and seeing how you feel about the humour then.
Inami is definitely one of the letdowns of the show.
Thought this was going to turn out to be a typical onsen episode, but it ended up having nearly nothing to do with being at an onsen.
Inami's issue is getting a bit annoying at the clear lack of progress being made and her lack of any real effort to fix the core of the problem, rather than the outcome alone.
Well, that was a very quick plot setup/hot springs excuse. That shit just blew up within the first fifteen seconds.
*Googles onsen manju* Wow, that looks good. I can understand why the manager would want to go to the hot springs just for that.
"Actually, I only punched him 3 times today." Shit! I was so proud of Inami for a while based on the lack of punches in the last few episodes, but she's still as violent as ever off-screen. Why would they suddenly decide to bring that back up?
How old is Yamada, really? Wanting Sota to read her a story so she can get to sleep...
Why did Sato start to freak out over a piece of gum being placed in his mouth? I get that it was Yachiyo, but that's such a little thing.
"I ended up causing trouble for everyone..." Why can you not get over your fear? Was Inami sexually abused or some other backstory we haven't received yet? We've seen no evidence of any man ever treating her badly, and the men who are around her seem to go out of their way to accommodate/treat her nicely, only for her to hit them.
"I'm sorry. Because of my curfew, we can't stay longer for a hot spring bath..." What is this? No fanservice in the hot springs episode?!
"No, son, you may not have your body pillow at the dinner table!"
Satou sure is hopeless when it comes to Yachiyo. You need to know when it's better to just let go, man.
Onsen episode with no actual onsen in it... okay. By the way, since when Souta became Inami's "guard/supervisor"? As if having to look after three eccentric older sisters wasn't enough for him...
