| Chill start to the ep, but didn't last that long. These two always seem to find themselves in the middle of something, and this time is two different groups, with one possibly having the person that they're looking for. The illusions of this man eater didn't seem to be too much trouble for them, or at least Maru, taking advantage there. |

| Some real freaky creature designs this episode. Those noclipper guys were great in a super upsetting way. Gore isn't really my style, though I'm a fan of how brutal, yet how tactful the violence in this is. Really gives you a feel for how these eldritch creatures function within this world and pulls you in that much more (even when it's just a hallucination). Glad to see the show's getting back on track, though where the hell it's headed, I'm not quite sure. It still seems to be firmly within the ballpark of adolescence and the coming of age, though it's beginning to get real weird with it's premise. I can appreciate that. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. |

So they start the new job as a man-eaters hunter because why not. JK. Kiru still on point to her own search, but as the result, its kinda make her hotheaded for awhile to the point that she caught onto the hallucination and got kissed xd. Legit i thought the cult doctor was Kiru previous doctor, but disguised himself onto a younger version one thanks to his madlad experience to change human or some shit. Tho, looks like theres more story to those doctor and the Immortal Order than what i think before. So yeah, let's start the new quest immediately... |

| While there may be some truth to that anti-tech group's claims, I think people unfamiliar with how medicine works can jump to conclusions. In a dirty post-apocalyptic world, getting gangrene in a leg wound can be a case for amputation if there are no other options to stop the spread of infection. In a functioning society, patients don't just walk into the operating theater. The Immortal Order's god could be Mina, the AI that controls the school/lab facility in the scenes set in the past. The anti-tech group could be in cahoots with the immortal order doing an elaborate front to lure outsiders into to becoming subjects of man eater experiments. The vision Kiruko experienced must be extra terrifying given how Haruki was lower half was eaten. Fortunately, it was a hallucination, the man eater must have hypnotised them. Maru gave Kiruko a mouth-to-mouth and then went back for seconds! damn Now in comes the man who claims to be Dr. Usami. He wants the pair to kill a man-eater for him? Is that what the leader of the anit-tech group saw? I think Usami was trying to find away to kill a man eater but to someone who doesn't know better he was conducting an inhumane experiment. Maybe the doctor Kiruko once knew in the photo was Dr. Usami's previous body? He underwent the same brain transplant surgery that he presumably performed on Kiriko and Haruki. |
