Prison Realm is made up of the Front Door and the Back Door. The Back Door was with Tengen. And Tengen gave it to Choso. Opening any one door is enough to release the person inside the Prison Realm.

This was explained when the protagonists met Tengen just after the Shibuya Incident Arc.

Is it me or did Gojo’s return feel very anti climactic? I guess I expected his return to be like a atomic bomb, world shaking… meanwhile in the chapter he just sorta appears in some ruins? And has a nice chat with the enemies, end of chapter.
