| new year just started, and it feels weird to spend it with someone else after a long time living alone lol mom and friend sending messages about Mahiru, wonder if mom and Chitose also sent to Mahiru asking the same seems like someone will visit him in 2 days, is it father? Mahiru, exausted after all that time cooking, feel asleep on his arm, and wqouldn't wake up no matter what, and the ebst option is to let her sleep on his bed again, how many times will that happen? :p she finally woke up, and started to nuzzle her face on his hand, is she a Dedenne? lols she actually woke up for a bit last night, while he was carrying her, but pretended to be sleeping cause she was embarrassed, and possibly to check how trustworthy he is while he is glad she trusts him, he made sure to tell her that he is a guy after all, so better not tease him... unless she also wants something lols she had to hide her face his parents came to visit, and unlike mother, his father actually asks for permission to come visit, so he deserves better treatment lols now, some introductions were done, and parents told them to treat each other well lol parents flirting, how cute seems like Amane had problems with those 3 guys and that's the reason he left Mahiru thinking about how Amane makes her heart flustered lols time to go for new year's shrine visit, and to make sure no one recognises him outside, he had to do some dress up, which he usually hates doing Mahiru with a kimono, as expected she is pretty with anything mom always wished she had a daughter to dress up, so it seems Mahiru will have to deal with her Amane ended up calling her pretty, about time, even if he needed some pushing from his mother she usually dislikes being praised, but if it's him, it's ok i like how she needed to tell him in the ear about him looking cool with the new dress, she can't say it out loud everyone was looking at her outside, she stands out from the rest but apparently, her kimono is not helping her walking properly, so Amane gave her a hand sharing drinks, Mahiru got embarrassed and reminded Amane about the time he was embarrassed with the cake last episode he kinda forgot that he isn't dealing with Chitose, the one who just steals his full drink LOL hearing him talk about it, how he behaves with friends, she decided to tell him that she is also his friend so she can do it just fine lol was this jealousy? or she just really wanted to do the things friends usually do together? it's not like she has experience with other people back at home, Mahiru talking about experiencing happiness, for the 1st time ever, she had dinner with "her family", since her real family never did... which he answered with an headpat, again, something many anime girls like, and Mahiru probably never had "you can't just touch girls like that" "i only do it to you" lol Mahiru said something similar before (also i wonder if he never headpat Chitose lol) she seemed disappointed when the headpat ended but went away right after, all embarrassed she stopped at her door (how cute she looks while hiding like that), and sent an "Amane-kun no baka" as much as his parents wanted to stay a couple more days, they have to go work, but next time, Amane should be the one to go to their house, and ofc, bringing Mahiru with him Amane told Mahiru she doesn't need to say all the good things she says (thinking she was just doing it out of duty), but she went ahead and made sure to tell him that she likes him and trusts him, she meant everything she said ... and Amane is glad to be there with her next, back at school, they hear some girls talking about Mahiru having a boyfriend, they saw them holding hands at the shrine, but good thing they didn't recognise him lol that being said, it wouldn't be too hard if someone decided to stalk her for a bit after school and find where she lives lol as much as Mahiru doesn't want people thinking she has a boyfriend (tbh it would help her, not getting any more love letters), but at the same time she is also happy they "looked like a couple" Amane answered with "i don't think someone like me could be your boyfriend" and she got extremely mad ... how many times must she tell him to stop with the bad self esteem, specially when talking to her? lol she ended up saying how cool and nice he is, and they both had to go hide their faces next episode, seems like Chitose will be visiting the house and baking some chocolate |

At least that's how it was at first, but now she clearly likes him too. So i know this is a stalemate that would indeed be hard to break. Anyway, that's neither here nor there as far as Miharu's parents are concerned. Her family is a secret and they WILL create drama in the future. I just hope the author is a bit original about it. | This anime just keeps putting a big fat smile on my face, these two are so adorable! I love how their feelings are progressively showing and they don't realize how much of a couple they look like to the outside onlooker. Amane really be mesmerized by Mahiru's sleeping face, touching her cheeks and still think they are just friends. And Mahiru who is aware of this pretending to be asleep, and then rubbing her cheeks on his hands. I liked Amane's father, you can really tell he respects and cares for Amane. I thought he was going to be similar to his mother's personality, where they tease Amane together but I'm glad he's more grounded. The indirect kiss part was amusing, Amane really didn't realize why Mahiru was flustered but learning that he's been doing that with Itsuki and Chitose makes sense, you don't think much of it between friends. The headpat scene was so adorable! Mahiru was so ADORABLE and Itsuki was so right about Amane being the type to spoil his girlfriend, he was very much enjoying that lol. I like how he had no hesitation and did it because he wanted to, he looked cool. Hopefully the rumors die down, I wouldn't want the relationship they have now to change anytime soon because it's so much fun watching them develop at their own pace. |

| For some reason, there is always this specific sentence that male characters say to girls when they fall asleep defenseless – "I'm a guy after all." Like, okay, so what? Sure, you're a guy, so what? With this episode, I just realized how often main male characters say that. I feel like it always paints guys as some type of animal that'll pounce at the chance to get with a girl or take advantage of them when they're defenseless. Sure, there are some guys that'll do that, just like it's not impossible for the inverse to happen. I don't know, it's just a nitpick, but it felt weird hearing that since this is supposed to be a "wholesome" anime. |
Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load. |
